Pixies – Is She Weird

This song is as weird as it is catchy. The lyrics are surreal and often sexual, and the song gradually gets more and more intense.

Pixies – Break My Body

Once again, the lyrics are very sexual and ambiguous. Some claim it’s about self-hatred, others will say it’s S&M or incest. The chorus features a great duet between Frank Black and Kim Deal.

Pixies – Alec Eiffel

The song references the French engineer Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, who designed the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty; Francis thought it was a “fascinating subject” to compose a song about. This song is pretty fast-paced and guitar is definitely the highlight of this song.
