Great stuff. Excited about Shattered Dreams particularly. Thank you!
June 26, 2015 at 5:12 pm #449036Thomas Dolby!!!!!!
(though in the UK I`m sure he had two hits, Hyperactive being the other but I wont hold that against you because…)

June 26, 2015 at 5:51 pm #449039Hello
I’m sorry for the issues with Phase Shift songs, the problem is fixed now but I don’t know what was the problem.
June 26, 2015 at 5:58 pm #449040It’s an inside joke from last week, hence the TMNT icon. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif”>

Thanks for taking care of that so quickly!
June 26, 2015 at 6:08 pm #449042Well, I told him I would halve his pay if he didn’t fix it immediately. Amazing what people do when facing the loss of 50% of their weekly income.

Yes, sorry if you took that the wrong way DRB.
Here is my REAL response to today’s release:
Awesome! I’ll probably get all of it. Although I think I already have Dash Riprock’s version of the Hall & Oates tracks; should I replace them?
Also should I be scared of Stars? I’m an expert level guitarist but skittles solos (along with weird strum patterns) still annihilate me.

Stars is awesome. I’ve had that custom for oh, 3 years now? I’ve played it multiple times. Great fun.

Dash Riprock is one of the great authors we have in our community and he does great work but C3 customs go through a more detailed playtesting process, C3 authors are required to work at a higher level of awareness of all rules and many C3 authors come from a professional RBN background. So, yes, latest versions should always replace previous versions. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>

Very.

QFT!
First off… Aw, shucks! Grazie mille.
Second… I am immensely pleased by brand-consious patrons.
Third… I’m typically satisfied that what I release is fairly accurate, but I don’t have near the experience of ‘The Elders’. You should replace.
June 26, 2015 at 7:21 pm #449050Dash – I love everything about your customs. The song choices, the quality you put into them, your productivity….you’re awesome.
I feel *so* bad for you when C3 releases a custom within a couple of weeks of you releasing one*. I understand that there’s significant lead time involved in these things (and I’m guessing that C3 already had these songs planned before you listed them in your WIP), but it seems to me that there *has* to be a better way to coordinate such things amongst the community. If you e-mailed Farottone before beginning any custom, and said “I’m planning on doing XYZ in the next two weeks…is this already in the C3 pipeline?”, I’m sure he’d let you know and you could save yourself that heartache. You can then spend that time catching up on sleep, doing *another* awesome song, or watching the paint dry. Whatever.
Maybe this is already cleared up. If so, then please disregard. In my real life, I work for a big company that has these silo issues, and it’s a constant source of annoyance. Doesn’t have to be like that.
*I actually feel bad for anybody who puts the amount of work you guys put into these things only to have them trumped by C3 (or even HMX back in the day). That has to be completely soul crushing at some level. As a customer/user, all I can give is a humble “thanks for all of this stuff”, and know that we feel bad for you when it happens.
