“Be With You” was kind of the obligatory ballad-style track of the epoch and it made them ostensibly a one-hit wonder in NA. The other stuff is certainly more Rock Band-friendly.
June 21, 2014 at 6:42 pm #423169Yeah, okay. Bittersweet Symphony. That one needed to happen.
Gotta meet that 80s weekly quota tho.
June 21, 2014 at 7:20 pm #423171After testing every track individually, and jumping to conclusions last time, I’ve found that both “Who Can It Be Now?” and “How Soon Is Now?” cause my game to freeze as new DLC is being added. I renamed the file for “Where Is My Mind?” and got it to work (the old data was still in the cache, only had solo vox), and “Bittersweet Symphony” works fine. Two out of four ain’t bad, but I’d love to get the others to work.
Any thoughts/suggestions? Or info you might need?
Edit — Tried adding a random Mr. Big song, causes it to freeze as well. Not up to the magic 2952 yet, not sure what to try.
Bonus edit — Tried moving the files onto my primary flash drive (from the one I use that isn’t at the file-in-folder limit), tried adding a completely different file (“What Do I Get?”, which I’m glad to see finally got a conversion), and no luck. Removed all of them and it’s loading fine, might take another crack at it after work. Haven’t had the game lock up like this in a while, it’s getting frustrating.

I ran into this problem a year ago. See my thread in the custom help forum: http://www.pksage.com/ccc/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=256
It seemed like I hit some kind of cache limit and deleting the cache fixed the problem.

June 22, 2014 at 5:56 pm #423253MiltoniusPrime, that’s probably a cache problem, I’m afraid you’ll have to erase/rebuild it.
And non-related, How soon is now? had, for a very stupid reason, no lipsync at all. It’s now fixed, but you’ll have to redownload it, sorry about that.
June 22, 2014 at 6:49 pm #423261No problem, I figured it was worth a rebuilding since I’m getting rid of a ton of redundant songs (2x bass I got in the offchance I’d play them, RB1 versions, etc).
Great mix, by the way. Definitely knocked some songs off of my to-do list.
June 27, 2014 at 5:13 pm #423548Farottone, you seem to be very good at introducing me to albums that I never knew I loved. First Native Tongue, and now this – I love them all ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Great to hear you’ve discovered these albums, they make for great listening sessions. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
July 5, 2014 at 12:37 am #424100How Soon Is Now – vox animation is a fantastic version of ventriloquism! The vocalist moves, but their mouth doesn’t open at all during the lyrics.
