It autoscans all your tracks when the game starts. Is there any way to disable that? It would be nice to not wait for it to scan 1700 tracks.

    Thanks!

Put them in a pack, then it just scans 1 file, or split them up into packs.

I have 3,500 songs but only scans 40 files

This is usually a non-problem unless you’re on a Wii emunand with over 2k songs, then it takes 10mins to load.

It’s not ridiculously long like 10 minutes, but when I’m not adding songs very often I’d rather it not scan at all. Putting them in a few large packs might be good.

Would you mind pointing me in the right direction to do that? Can I ever pull them back out again?

    Thanks!

    Con tools, pack creator.

I created a pack for each letter of the alphabet, as well as a few packs for bands like AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Rush, etc… you can always debate them and create new packs later. I usually wait till I’ve added about 30 songs until I repack them so about once per month. Has saved so much time on my end. It used to be I had to wait a good 10 minutes every time I turned on game for all the songs to load, now it takes 20-30 seconds.

Is there a song limit for the game?

Can I put a pack within a pack or no?

Song limit is 2952 (3000-tutorials, or something like that).

You can’t put a pack in a pack, but you can merge packs, if that makes sens. Merging being remove songs from one pack to put them in another.

Thanks for the info. The tool kit is amazing. The renaming tool alone is a lifesaver. Finally making an easy way for me to see duplicates and organizing tracks.
