November 6, 2014 at 2:54 pm #432259AnonymousBut cheesy jesus christ. It’s 2014. There’s Google. If you don’t understand something, Google it before making assumptions and then proceeding to post multiple times based on those assumptions.
Even if he lived under a rock, and somehow likes a game called Rock Band but has never heard of the rock magazine, it still makes absolutely no sense to assume as he did given what has been posted so far and the other videos released.
The reason why I don’t know the Rolling Stone magazine because I tend to dislike magazines in general. I find most of them to be “critics based” and I don’t like critics… I don’t care what they think of songs or musicians/bands… I know what I like and I don’t need some people who own a magazine company to tell me about what music is good. I also don’t care at all what is happening in these musicians’ lives… So I find a lot of these magazines to be totally useless and I never cared to bother them at all.
Also, yes. I never did google it but simply because I didn’t give a flying muffin. That is my fault and my laziness though… So I made the assumption that I did. And all you guys had to do was correct me in one post, not mock me and such.
November 6, 2014 at 3:00 pm #432260And all you guys had to do was correct me in one post, not mock me and such. That could have been a solution if only you hadn’t gone out of your way to make sure we knew you don’t care for what we release. Saying “Meh, I only care for one song anyway” makes us not like the attitude and makes people want to get a bit even. It wasn’t a matter of “honest mistake”, it was a matter of not wanting to hear that you don’t care that we work hard on some songs.
With that said, please let’s end the discussion on that here. It’s just depressing that we have spent months working on this and one third of the thread is devoted to this.
November 6, 2014 at 3:09 pm #432261So yeah. That Genesis. I have to admit I’ve only ever heard That’s All prior to this project but now that I’ve played through most of them, they’re fun and challenging on drums. Most songs looked insane on pro keys but i can’t play them to save my life. If you do, get hyped!
November 6, 2014 at 3:17 pm #432262I am amazed that these are all full band! The time and effort put in to just the keys part has to have been enormous! I really cant thank all of you enough for this project. Incredible job. I cant wait to play them next week!!

Most songs looked insane on pro keys but i can’t play them to save my life. If you do, get hyped! Some are really tough, but some are actually very enjoyable even if you don’t play that much pro keys. In any case, come November 14th, on the minisite each song will have its own preview video, so everyone can pick and choose. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> Also, all songs from each album will be grouped in one CON file, so that if you’re interested in an album you can just download one file.
November 6, 2014 at 4:53 pm #432271Although I’m not a fan of Genesis, I can’t deny the sheer amount of time and effort put into this release.
November 6, 2014 at 5:41 pm #432278As far as keys I would say the intro to the Lamb Lies Down has got to be extremely tough but it’s so great.
The sheer scope of this project is truly something to admire. Especially as it’s free for everyone to enjoy. Even if I didn’t already know and Love Genesis the fact that you guys put so much blood sweat and tears into one group would make me curious to dive in and see what all the fuss is about. Kudos to all involved.
November 6, 2014 at 6:00 pm #432279Just awesome!
All the authors involved are total superstars.
Cannot wait to play the ones I know and also those I don’t
You all deserve to be recognized for the largest single band release EVER!

I am dropping this… I just want to say that I am sorry then. I didn’t meant any harm nor didn’t meant to offend anyone.. No matter what songs you guys make, I completely respect your work and skill in charting these said songs. Just because I may not care or be interested in playing them, doesn’t mean that I don’t respect your guys’ work. You do a great job and pretty much always do so… I am always happy to see what songs you guys release every friday, even if it is a song I don’t care for… Just knowing that you guys do great work is good enough for me to like ya and respect ye’ all.
So… I am sorry if I did anything that may have been taken in a harmful way; that was not my wish.

No probs, I was just explaining why the reaction. I’m sure you’re gonna love more than a few Genesis songs. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
November 6, 2014 at 10:37 pm #432295Alright, it’s great to see that we’ll be able to download the albums as full packs! I’ll be getting all 80 songs, I’m so hyped.
November 6, 2014 at 11:05 pm #432296I’d never read a single issue of Rolling Stone until last year and I’ve still know what it was my whole life. It’s a staple in rock music. Though I’ll admit I probably always thought it was named after the band and didn’t realize it didn’t have an S and the end. It’s like the Nintendo Power of music magazines!
November 7, 2014 at 12:59 am #432301Man my birthday is on the 20th., so this is kind of a early present!
Keep calm and rock on!
November 7, 2014 at 1:04 am #432303There is a magazine called Rolling Stone – not to be confused with the band The Rolling Stones.
I’ve never heard of this magazine.
Oh, what world do you live in…
November 7, 2014 at 1:21 am #432305I don’t think my poor little flash drive will be able to handle this many songs, but i’ll do everything I can to fit all the 70’s stuff on there, especially the 2 albums. The lamb and selling england are two of my favorite albums of all time.
