Does anybody have the downloads for the preview plugins? I get this error message when reaper loads, “The following effects were in the project file and are not available. REAPER will keep their configurations, but things may not sound as desired.

Track 1: VSTi: RBN Preview (RBN)

Track 6: VSTi: RBN Preview (RBN)

Track 8: VSTi: RBN Preview (RBN)

Track 17: VSTi: RBN Preview (RBN)”

And I think its cause I only have the rbn2 template and not the plugins

It may also be because you’re using REAPER 64-bit. The plugins only work with 32-bit.

The preview plugins are part of the RBN tools, listed on the first page of the authoring tools post.

I have those tools downloaded and I’m running the 32 bit reaper but they still aren’t working.

Look in your REAPER plugins directory. For me, that’s d:program files (x86)REAPERPluginsFX.

Do you have rbprev_vst.dll? The rbprev folder?

        No, just “default_layouts”

Then you’d better install the tools again… that’s where they’re supposed to go!

I’m talking about the rbn2-install.exe linked in this post:
