Hello, I went to download I wanna be your man with the upgrade, and (like knights of cydonia) I got the song but the upgrade. Can someone please help me?
The pro upgrade is integrated into the song if you get the version on the 360ISO forum thread.
pro upgrade was integrated but not tested, since I don’t have pro guitar. make sure you REBUILD YOUR CACHE before reporting problems. if you already had the song, and then redownloaded after I added the update, it’s not going to show PRO because it’s still loading the old song info. you need to REBUILD YOUR CACHE for the game to notice that now the song has pro guitar/bass.
Thank you, could you please explain to me how I would “rebuild my cache”? Please And thank you kind sir ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Can we ALL agree that when we suggest to rebuild the cache we ALWAYS warn that all offline scores are wiped?!
Just build a song ID changer already Nemo, you have the skills, bless us with a tool, come on! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif”>
Can’t you also just change the file name?
When a new version of a song comes out, I copy the original name and add V1, v2, etc.
I could have sworn that has worked for me in the past, but I maybe I’m imagining things.
I’ve definitely had to do many cache rebuilds while editing my library and repacking or editing official DLC.
But I thought for customs, just renaming the file would do the trick.
Also, speaking of cache rebuilds, I thought I saw it mentioned somewhere that just deleting the song while
in game removes it from the cache without having to do a full rebuild and then you only have to worry about the songs your actually replacing and would save offline scores for the rest.
I know it’s easy enough to just try it out, but I won’t be able to for several hours and I’m just curious, because that
would sure save a lot of headache.

Imagining ftw. You can rename an RBA though, feed it to rb3maker, and then get a new song ID for your new CON, because rb3maker uses the RBA file name as song ID. But changing a file name won’t do anything to change cached DTA info.

IT’S ALL LIES! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif”> Seriously, it won’t do a thing to the cache.
