I’m having problem creating bin files for wii.

I have always converted CON files to Wii with 100% success.

However after renaming folders greater than 494(dec) 1ee(hex) does not create the .bin file that I need for the songs to work on the wii.

      example:

      492_000001ec_music_meta
      493_000001ed_music_song

492.bin ok 493.bin ok, they are created perfectly

      my problem started here:

      494_000001ee_music_meta
      495_000001ef_music_song

      494.bin ok
      495.bin did not appear.

any number I put after 494 does not appear in the .bin file.

I’ve tried the numbers from 495 to 999 with their hexadecimals respectively, but none works.

I am far from an expert on this matter, however I do remember reading somewhere on the forums (back when I set up my Wii) that the content generations only go to about 500. Or maybe it starts at 494, as you’re seeing here. It’s nothing you did wrong, that’s just the extent of what is possible, and in my limited understanding nothing can be done about it. My recommendation would be looking into ZHE generation (if you’ve been using ZFE this whole time, I believe ZHE usage is discussed on the Wii setup thread) or packing multiple songs together if you haven’t already been doing that. Otherwise, it’s time to start making some gut calls about what songs you want to have on hand. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

          Which generation are you using?
          sZFE goes to 499
sZGE and sZHE goes to 493
at least that how it is on my end

I solved my problem, I put a new generation of dlc. The wii limit is 240 songs. Thanks for help guys.
