ParticipantAnd I have broadly mainstream pop/rock tastes, to wit:
“Driver’s Seat” by Sniff ‘n’ The Tears
“I Wouldn’t Want To Be Like You” by The Alan Parsons Project
“Hold Your Head Up” by (Rod) Argent
“Dance With Me” by Orleans
Just about anything at all from Supertramp
“Love Is Alive” by Gary Wright
“Mexico” by James Taylor
“In My Time Of Dying” by Led Zeppelin (my dream Zep track)
“Crystal Ball” by Styx
“So Into You” by Atlanta Rhythm Section
I could keep going! I’d love to try some of these myself, but I’m afraid I’ll need lessons.

MemberAshamed to say I’m unfamiliar with 60% of the artists and 100% of the tracks listed above, will fix that.
“Baby’s On Fire” by Brian Eno
“Wasn’t Born To Follow’ by The Byrds
“Horror Movie” by Skyhooks
“Rock On” by David Essex (though I can’t see it being whole lot a fun for anyone besides the vocalist)

Participant+1 on “Wheel In The Sky”. It would be a fun one on drums.
Also, “Anytime/Feeling That Way” from the same album (Infinity).
The Foghat song makes me wonder why “Slow Ride” (GH3) hasn’t ever been redone.

FarottoneKeymasterI would so chart a dozen Elton John songs if authoring piano wasn’t such a frustrating and imprecise work.

I just had an Oh yeah, I love that song moment
” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> . Thats what I get for listening to the greatest hits, instead of the actual albums.May 8, 2013 at 12:00 am #399338beastman
MemberFinishing Sweet’s Desolation Boulevard album would be awesome. Getting “Fox on the Run” to complete the Sweet 3-pack that HMX never got to would still be excellent.

” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>I have been thinking about doing a bunch of stuff off the greatest hits, although I hope you do know that the version of “Fox on the Run”
is quite different than the one everyone knows.

MemberThat might be the album version if you lived in England…
