sysCheck does report the wrong one. Have you ever downloaded any official DLC from the store before? Or if you’ve done a NAND backup, there should be a keys.bin file. Both of those will help getting the real one. For the common key, make sure that what you have there is the hexadecimal contents of the file, not text data. In other words, you should see random characters if you open it in Notepad.

Okay, I was kind of skeptic to be honest of that… but the whole reason I didn’t use the keys.bin file was because every NAND backup I did never spit out one. There was a point in time where it randomly showed up in my SD card, but I accidentally deleted it when I meant to delete something else, and I have no idea how it showed up there in the first place.

Also, for the common key, I read from somewhere in this thread that I just had to paste it in the text editor… so much for that. How do I insert them by hexadecimal, and how come everyone just knows all this and I don’t? (I swear, if humans were created in factories, I’d be some sort of defect because I don’t just automatically know certain things while everyone else in this world seem to have gotten things down.)

So basically I guess this whole problem was started because I’m stupid as fuck. />.>” title=”>.>” class=”bbcode_smiley” /> Such as my life, I guess.

OH NEVER MIND. I just found the backup where I backed up my NAND when I first set up my Homebrew Channel. It has keys.bin. My life is saved. />.>” title=”>.>” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

      OMG IT WORKS NOW! THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!

I don’t know where I’d get without you. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!

EDIT: Okay, it just loaded, like, one of my songs. The menu lagged a whole bunch saying it was loading the three songs I had, but it only showed one of them in the song list. />.>” title=”>.>” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

EDIT2: Nevermind…. the two other songs don’t show up on my SD card. I guess I didn’t insert the other two or something. Hopefully the Wii didn’t erase them. I remember copying and pasting the files altogether.

EDIT3: Okay, yeah, it’s deleting the other two songs. What the hell is happening!?

        Glad you got it working.

The game auto-erases content it considers “corrupted” or incomplete. So the lag is a bit unusual. You will run out of room on sZGE because it was only a test. Here’s a tmd you should use that should let you add more songs.

        http://ge.tt/8GGIhZC2/v/0?c

Let me know if something else goes wrong.

Where do I put this tmd? Do I just put it in the sZGE folder or my NAND (If so, where)?

Since you are making BIN files for SD DLC, then put it in your packing folder for sZGE. It should overwrite the one that’s already in there.

          Ah, finally, they work. THANKS!

Thanks for the help. I don’t think I could have done it without your help.

          Hi,

I have tried to follow this guide to the letter adding Toto Africa for Wii.

But when I run the bat file, I only get .app files and not the .bins

          Any suggestions?

          Thanks

I’ve had this issue before, and I’ve solved it. I don’t know if the same will work for you.

Find the .rar you downloaded, and reextract everything. If you’re replacing the files you’ve already extracted, be sure not to accidentally replace ng_id and common-key. This is a way I got .bins to generate. I think there are certain files that gets moved or deleted later on.

If that doesn’t work, then might want to wait for someone else to help. I’m not all that good with support.

              A quick question, or two.

Are all the songs on the database confirmed to be working?

Is there a problem with the sZGE gen?

When I add songs to sZGE, only the first one 003.bin works, all others come up as corrupted.

I’ve tried re-downloading the ones that weren’t working.

I guess I could try different songs.

This is what packdlc looks like:

              @echo off

              u8it 003_00000003_far_ifyouwanna_meta 00000003.app -pack

              u8it 004_00000004_far_ifyouwanna_song 00000004.app -pack

              u8it 005_00000005_far_mc_anotherday_meta 00000005.app -pack

              u8it 006_00000006_far_mc_anotherday_song 00000006.app -pack

              u8it 012_0000000c_shelovesyousak_song 0000000c.app -pack

              wadpacker 3 10

              del RB2_DLC_*

              del title.wad

              del 000.bin

I can add to sZFE with no problems. Just wanted to have a separate gen for Beatles/McCartney.
