Picture of the folder. Try taking out the “echo” parts from the batch file and see where it stops. And are you sure you don’t have file extensions hidden?

Here it is. I’m starting to hypothesize that it might be because I didn’t use C3 CON or that I am not using the default folders you provided (which I believed were one-time-use; basically, I believed that if I did the process without them, I’d be ready for when I couldn’t use them anymore). Also, turning on file extensions is usually one of the first things I do when I get a new computer, because I do all kinds of goofy shit that require me to change file types and such, like this ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
September 27, 2014 at 6:28 pm #430046Are you actually running the packdlc.bat file? I just did this myself and everything looks fine. Perhaps the RB3WiiPackTool should tell the user to run the script since after it finishes successfully, there is no hint as what to do next.
Even when you first download and run the tool, it should make a batch file that you can run to build BIN files out of the stock custom. See if it’s working.
September 27, 2014 at 6:37 pm #430047I’m gonna share some screenshots.

The first image is where cmd freezes after running packdlc.bat (for the eight thousandth time). The second is what packdlc.bat was modified to read after I read the original post’s instructions.
September 27, 2014 at 6:51 pm #430049You’re missing 00000026.app.
It came with the packing tools, so download it again and make sure it’s in there. Next version of the tool will verify that everything you have is valid and exists.
September 27, 2014 at 6:59 pm #430050Alright, I’ll redownload and edit this post with the results ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I got .bin files of what I needed, thank you so much! Now to see if the rest of the process goes off without any hitches.
Another question: when I convert 60 from decimal to hexadecimal, I get 3C. Can this result be used?
New issue: It says the license has been deleted. What do I do?
September 27, 2014 at 8:08 pm #430053Yes, you can use 3C. Just keep incrementing it and it should be fine.
If it’s giving you licensed deleted errors, make sure you have the sZFE WAD files from a few pages ago installed. If you have already done it long ago, do it over.
September 27, 2014 at 8:12 pm #430054What sZFE WADs? Do I have to do more installing shit in the likeness of Homebrew Channel? It isn’t that that was a pain in the ass, I just don’t remember what program in there is used to install WADs and I recall that misusing the program will brick the Wii ezpz
EDIT: I can’t find anything related to downloading sZFE WADs. I need someone to link it to me.
Also, when I try remaking the .bin files just to make my console ID from keys.bin is correct, I do not get a .bin file anymore. I am effectively at square one yet again, despite having the exact same set-up.
September 27, 2014 at 8:58 pm #430057There is a “mod pack” ( not the wiihack modpack) available for installing the necessary wads for RB3 in order to play customs and “purchased” songs from the RB network. I’m guessing this is what you are referring to. If you search, you will find them (not that hard). Don’t know if the moderator will allow those types of links here.

Is your ng_id.txt file still there and does it have any spaces in it?

My ng_id file exactly as it appears.
You could just e-mail me the .zip file. I can’t find it anywhere!
September 27, 2014 at 10:35 pm #430061I haven’t read you’re previous posts but this is what you have to do in order to get all this to work.
1) Softmod your Wii
2) Install the sXXX wads
3) Make sure the Wii Shop Channel is updated (the latest softmod should have this step in it)
4) Follow the guide in this forum by StackOverFlow
5) Run to StackOverFlow for any help (he is the man)
For step 2, just do a search on youtube for “wii rock band 3 ntsc”. You can’t miss it.
P.S. I am guessing you are doing this on a Wii and not the “virtual Wii mode” on the Wii U. It won’t work on the WiiU.
September 27, 2014 at 11:10 pm #430063I don’t know if this is a sign that many more Wii users are trying, and that’s why we see so many having problems. But from the outside looking in it sure looks like things have gotten more complicated to get running than when I worked with StackOverflowX to create the converter tool
September 27, 2014 at 11:47 pm #430066I knew this was gonna be hell to do. Everything with the Wii is hell to do, but I am adamant I want to get this to work, but I just can’t. 😡
September 28, 2014 at 12:19 am #430069You might not be able to get it to work at first since it is all new to you and might seem a bit overwhelming but it actually is just a matter of following steps. The Wii is actually pretty simple to mod. I mod Xbox 360s and THAT is a pain especially if you are new to it.
If you followed steps 1-4 like I laid out for you above, then the problem probably lies in Step 4 which in turn means you need to do step 5 ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
What step are you on? What problem is it you are having?
