The weird resolution is most likely the emunand not setted. If you created a brand new NAND the settings are at default wii settings… an emunand is basically another Wii.
I don’t know exactly what method you are using to boot your emunand but you should be able to boot into its system menu and set it (resolution; wi-fi; etc;… make sure to turn off wiiconnect24 it can corrupt emunand files when you unplug it if left on).
For the savegame; you can copy it from your real NAND into the emunand; they are structured the same way. Savegames for every games are located in title 0010000 and every folder is the ID of the game in hex… RB3 NTSC is SZBE so in hex it’s 535a4245.
May 23, 2017 at 3:14 am #485400All the customs or some customs? It could be an ID issue; try to see if the problematic songs have non-numerical characters in their IDs.
Every custom I tried to put in a created setlist that I have saved. for example, all customs from GH3 or GH2. I try to create a setlist with the guitar hero 3 tiers and it worked just the first time. every time I load it, the custom songs are listed “unknown song” and when I try to play it, it returns this error i mentioned:
“you can’t play this setlist because you or other players don’t own # songs of the list”
Thanks for your attention
May 23, 2017 at 3:46 am #485401Did you checked the IDs of the songs that are shown as Unknown? Did you checked the IDs of the songs that do work? That is what I suggested.
The song ID is in the DTA at the song_id line.
May 24, 2017 at 1:59 am #485428I’ve never run into that glitch, but I’ve also rarely used setlists. I don’t know what to say except it’s probably something to do with the IDs. That’s how people have been playing online, right?
May 24, 2017 at 2:22 am #485429Yes; we need valid numerical IDs to play online; and the whole DTA minus the sXXX/XXX path (at least; not sure about every other files) needs to match between players.
May 28, 2017 at 10:57 am #485590hi! i have tried doing this on two different wiis on both emunand and realnand and they both have not worked, and both say the save file is corrupted. i am very sorry if this has been addressed already. i am using a pal region game
May 28, 2017 at 4:47 pm #485603Which part exactly? Setting up emunand at all should not corrupt your game save. That much should be the same regardless of region or any instruction here so far.
May 28, 2017 at 11:01 pm #485613it happens when i boot the game, and no custom songs load
sorry if i am not understanding, i am not sure where the problem is coming from
(edit)
i have tried again from the start, with the sd method. i have the szfp wad installed and am getting error code 20103 when i try to access the store (not sure why, i have never hacked/used cheats online..) so i got my ng-id from a save file using FE100. and i have a common-key also
when i boot the game it shows “updating dlc” and it asks to use the sd card for dlc.. but it doesn’t show loading the songs in the top left and it has just the normal rb3 setlist. i have tried reloading the cache as well but it didn’t fix anything
May 30, 2017 at 2:56 am #485658i figured out why they were not showing — my .app file was under 40mb but it had too many songs.
i have built a new one with only one song which now shows “loading add-on content” on the top left, but after it says “add-on content cannot be restored to system memory”never mind ahh i looked through the thread some more .. sorry i will stop talking now i got it working
June 5, 2017 at 1:53 am #485912I keep getting the “Content cannot be restored” error and I already rechecked and redid all of the meta folders. What else I’m I missing?
June 5, 2017 at 1:52 pm #485931Can you post screenshots of what you’re working with? These problems can be a bit difficult to figure out.

Okay, usually this error can happen for a few reasons. Is the sZGE WAD installed? Did you install it under IOS 249? Have you tried uninstalling the WAD and reinstalling it? Is your ng-id and common-key file valid? Why did you start at 052 if sZGE allows you to start from 003? Your numbers seem to desync at 064 as well, so those likely wouldn’t work.
Check for those things and see how it turns out.
