I feel dumb for not figuring this out myself, but anyway… every time I open up Reaper, I get this annoying popup message that hihat.wav could not be found, because apparently the C3 Template keeps looking for it under c3customshihat.wav. Note that I cannot just copy the file to that folder, because is already used for my DVD drive.
So how do you modify the C3 Template instead, so that when you load it, it points to a different folder? I tried to look in OptionsPreferences for the place where the folder c3customshihat.wav is defined, but I could not find it… for example there is a place under PluginVST where you define your location for the W1 Limiter, so I was expecting to find this other one here as well, what am I missing?
Open the template
Select all instances of hihat.wav
Item Properties (F2)
Choose new file…
Don’t forget to save the template when you’re done.
Awesome, thanks a lot!
