19 with the music taste of a 40 year old, I’ll be 20 in October

I would of never guessed you were a teenager based off of all the classic rock you have posted. Very cool.

I know, you would think I was older but thank my parents for exposing me to classic rock when I was a toddler.im very thankful for that.

I’ll second that ‘Thank you”, it’s funny how music can bring together people of different ages.

Pretty much the same for me, I’m 19 and I started listening Pink Floyd/King Crimson/Frank Zappa etc. at 14 y.o.

I still have a pretty large vinyl collection from my father in my bedroom… Always have been more of a MP3-guy though

21 this coming Friday… I feel like I’ve got the tastes of a 41 year old though, all the way down to how I listen to music and obtain it. Typically, I go for completing discographies of bands that I fall in love with in CD form unless its too expensive or literally not possible to do so. If that fails, I usually just get vinyls. I’ve noticed I’m into some really obscure 80’s stuff too, like Newcity Rockers (who only ever released one album as far as I know).

36 is middle aged now? There are a few of us that qualify for geriatric, then.

Well,I was talking for myself of course.I may easily misunderstood what a middle aged is (english is not my main language)and the geriatric-qualified people you are talking about are Seniors to me (Age is a grade everywhere you know? )

Only 15 here. Used to listen to a ton of classic rock but now it’s mostly metal. Not surprising for my age I guess.

No big deal, Malignoo. I was just surprised to learn that I’m old. I don’t feel old. I suppose I’ll have to get used to the idea.
