Imagine playing keys on guitar, it’s easy if you try. No keys, no stage kit, and no practice mode too. Oooh, ohhhh.
Ha! No practice mode doesn’t bother me much at all since I personally never used it (or the stage kit, I don’t own one)…the only thing that’s really bothered me on the “lack-of-features” department is the no setlists/playlists in Quickplay. I’m sure it’ll get added in an update, but still, pretty bothersome knowing it’s not in there at launch.
October 5, 2015 at 1:19 pm #456810DLC = 120-ish
Lego Rock Band = 45
Rock Band = 55
Rock Band 2 = 79Hoping they’ll support Rock Band 3 (+83) and AC/DC Live! (+18)
Looks like around 300, is my best guess right now. Harmonix hasn’t even listed the AC/DC Live! Export, which bums me out.
I really hope there’s an easier way (for all of you who have hundreds of songs or a 1,000+) to import DLC songs from the game on the Xbox One than what Harmonix has posted about going through the Store and going through the 1000+ songs to find your purchases and downloading them all individually.
October 5, 2015 at 1:45 pm #456812According to DLC Quickplay, I have 762 DLC, 415 RBN, and all exports.
I’m sure it won’t all be available right away, but I don’t have an xbone/ps4 so I can’t get RB4 anyway
October 6, 2015 at 4:13 am #456936With what has been available to download thus far and not blocked or flagged as available for me, I am at 1543… And it is taking FOREVER to build the cache right now. Definitely feels slower than RB3.
October 6, 2015 at 4:48 am #456937Jesus Christ clintilona.
I’m missing what everyone is missing, so the exports, my few RBN songs, and a couple of others – so I’m right now at meager 511* songs in game. Missing another 200-300 that should be coming to me when they figure out exports.
* song count keeps changing as more of my songs show up here and there.
October 6, 2015 at 5:29 am #456938Whats annoying me on the Xbox One is that I downloaded all the preorder songs but when I got in game to quickplay, only 5 songs show up. I even deleted the cache and they still won’t appear. I realize its day one but geez. Nice tip how the PS4 preorder songs are already available to purchase on Xbox One.
Anyhow, back to download city on the xbox dashboard.
October 6, 2015 at 6:04 am #456940Yeah there’s a lot going on. The store is buggy, so a lot of songs I own it was telling me $1.99. Click on them and then it tells me either I already have it or tell me I already own it, and I can download it. So I had to go again through each song, found some 30 new songs to download. I’m hoping they fix all these many issues quickly but man, not looking good now.
October 6, 2015 at 6:12 am #456942I just gave up downloading my 360 content from the in game store. I love how I have a song in my library but when I view it in the store it doesn’t say it’s in my library. May take days or weeks to sort all this out. Downloading from the XboxOne dashboard seems to be the most efficient way thus far.
October 6, 2015 at 2:59 pm #456975Yeah, I am having the same issue with the pre-order songs where only 5 show up. Hopefully it’ll be sorted out soon.
Some tips for downloading old DLC on XBox One:
– Go to your Xbox Live Download History and click on Xbox 360 game addons so you can see what you’ve bought before.
– Copy the whole list and put it on a spreadsheet that you can have open on a laptop or tablet while searching the store. Delete anything from other games and any pro charts, if you’ve bought any. I also added a few columns to keep track of what’s a pack vs. a single, what downloaded successfully, and what’s not found in the store. This way it’ll be easier to search for them later when more stuff is added and issues are sorted out.
– Plug in a USB keyboard so you can type stuff more quickly.
– Search with ~3 words at most, so try “rock” plus a couple of unique words from the song/artist. Don’t use “band”, since that seems to prioritize music results.
– If the song doesn’t show up in the results, try searching with part of the artist name instead. I forget which songs they were, but this happened to me a few of times where an obvious search didn’t yield anything but then the song I was looking for was listed when searching for the artist.
October 6, 2015 at 3:59 pm #456984People who own the game report that it’s easier to do it within the game’s store.
October 6, 2015 at 7:23 pm #457010I should have between 1500 to 2000 songs once export problem is solved…….
At least I hope I have that many ? From all the problems I’m reading about perhaps Not !
October 11, 2015 at 12:51 pm #457364No idea at all. I waited until the game was installed, used the in-game store (browse by artist) and only grabbed songs that I really enjoy playing for now. Once I’m done with the tour and things are sorted out better – if they ever are – I’ll go back & grab the rest. I would think that I’d be somewhere in the 2000+ range.
October 14, 2015 at 5:15 pm #457559Where does RB4 total your songs in game?
October 14, 2015 at 5:45 pm #457560If you’re asking where it *shows* your total songs…it doesn’t. But when you change sorting, each header has how many songs fall in that category. For me now, freestyle available is 3xx and no freestyle is 2xx for a combined total of 598 songs. Same if you do by date acquired I have 100 recent, 65 on disc and 433 DLC, for a total of 598. Interestingly (or buggy-ly?) it separates the 100 recent from the 433 dlc even though that’s 533 DLC in reality.
October 15, 2015 at 1:29 am #457582Being on the XboxOne and have purchased all DLC for the Xbox360, these are the songs I have not been able to transfer over yet without having to pay for them again. If songs were offered in a pack option I went for it. If songs were offered to be exported such as country track pack or metal track pack I went for it. I’m holding off on paying for these again until Harmonix can somehow get export codes to be recognized on the XboxOne. I heard that if I redownload some of these songs as singles on the 360 then the XboxOne will recognize ownership.
