Just an update guys the road crew submission deadline got extended to sept 17

So,

 

I am fully convinced that HMX is unable to see beyond my involvement with customs and, uh, reverse engineering their software. Still, my wife thought this might be fun. I also thought it was about time I shared with you guys who we are, and hopefully show that even though sometimes I may be an ass behind the keyboard, I got a great sense of humor in real life. The few of you who have the pleasure of knowing me in person know that already of course

 

 

– Yes, my wife is pregnant. 7 months.

– No, I no longer *have* the midi drums or the squier since they were sold when we moved, but I did *buy* them for Rock Band

– Yes, I do dress down on the weekends, but wear a full suit during the week

– We actually have more instruments in storage

– This is the *short* version of the video…my original render was 7:20 and at least 40% more embarrassing.

 

In retrospect, making this (remember, the original was 7:20 long and involves 5GB and 130+ files of memories) was a nice way to remind myself how much I enjoy the game and care about the franchise beyond the modding and programming aspect of it that has consumed my last couple of years.

Really stoked to have made it in, but sad to see some really deserving folks didn’t. TrojanNemo and drummerrockband have charted a lot of the songs that have kept The Knockouts’ weekly party alive all these years.

 

Not sure what the deciding criteria was. Maybe the huge RB guitar tattoo on my face?

I don’t know. I thought there would be no way I would make it in…but I made it. I am assuming that having my kids playing Rock Band in the video helped, as people usually love cute kid videos and such.
