I’m a really big fan of Zebrahead and after some search I saw that there are almost no customs of them…
So I decided to do some of them myself.
All of them are/will be full band charts.
I started with Get Back from their first album (but the 2015 re-recording)
Here’s how it’s looking like, some feedback on how the charts are and how to make them better would be greatly appreciated:
(some stuff has been changed, like all the singing parts have been authored and some tempo map issues as well)
I’m also making Wannabe from Waste of MFZB which itself is a cover of the Spice Girls.
I’ve finished authoring drums, bass and tempo mapping it but have no recording right now, sorry.
And although I only finished tempo mapping it, I’m also authoring Now or Never from Playmate of the Year.
These are my first proper customs so I’d really like to know what you think.
(I also have finished Broadcast to the World and Rated U for Ugly but I authored them before I knew how to tempo- map, so they don’t look very good)
Also I unfortunately only have the Wii version of RB3 as a means of testing (I have it on PS3 but it’s completely retail) and even so I only have the guitar and a mic, so I can’t test drums or harmonies…

First of all, keep in mind that some YouTube videos tend to drift off sync and so it’s difficult to discern exactly what goes on, RPP+audio usually gets you a better chance of having feedback.
Personally I can’t say how well they’re done for that reason, but I can point out a few issues.
– Guitar has too long sustains, you should leave at least 1/16th of space between end of sustain and next note. They way you’ve done them now essentially breaks combo every time.
– A few relative pitch issues maybe, the O to R sounds inverted but it may be me
– Drums look off, the kicks certainly (again, it may be YT not syncing but I don’t think so), but there’s also the chorus section I think that has only kicks and snare charted and no cymbals
– In Vocals I don’t see syllable splitting in the rap part.
Good luck with your projects. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>

Here you go: RPP + audio
I still haven’t fixed some of the issues, because I’m kinda struggling with the tempo map. I think it’s my biggest issue at the moment, I just can’t seem to get it to always match/get in sync with the music.
As for the rap part I thought it was unnescessary as it was rapping/unpitched, but I’ll change it later on; thanks a lot for the feedback! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
