I’m working on my first custom on Reaper, and I’m trying to run the FX of the Guitar Part. How do I do that?
There’s a green button next to the part that says “PART GUITAR” that should say “FX” on it. If you’re using the template, it will show the preview menu. If you aren’t using the template, start using it.
I got the preview menu, but I can’t see the preview of the chart.
Maybe you’re viewing a different instrument.
or,
Maybe you’re viewing a different difficulty. (say, you charted Expert, but preview is set for Hard).
The only thing I got charted so far is expert guitar. I clicked the FX for Part Guitar, but it says it can’t load the RBN Preview.
You need to install the plug in.
What plugin and where do I download it?

I finally got the screen, but there are no notes coming down the track. I actually charted guitar and bass ONLY on expert.
You know, there’s nothing wrong with experimenting a little on your own without having your hand held.
Look around the “screen” and you’ll see there is something saying “Easy”…maybe, just maybe, if you click on that, it changes to other difficulties? I don’t know. Just taking a wild guess here.
Also, if the track is muted, the notes will sometimes not come down.
