Played a full run through this afternoon and it is class, the solos as always just play great! Shake a Leg one is certainly tricky!
One quick query is the audio source for the song Back in Black different to the rest, I played all through pro headphones and it definitely sounds different not just as clear as the rest, not a complaint by any means at all but just a query?
Thanks again Funky.

Yeah I always use the audio I got from oscar, and for some reason the Back in Black audio was quieter than the other nine tracks. I tried amplifying it a little bit, so that may have muddied the audio a little. I was going to use my version from the CD, but it was a second or two longer – not sure why, meaning I would have to redo the tempo map, as well as the hard ending I edited in.
I’ll probably go back at some point and try to get it right, but it’s not very high on my to-do list right now.
I kind of thought it wouldn’t get caught, but I should have known from the headphone thread that people are using good audio equipment for customs. Thanks for pointing that out though. Every piece of feedback helps.
January 2, 2015 at 6:54 am #435545Thanks so much for the whole Back in Black album! If you were to do Thunderstruck and For Those About to Rock, I could delete the Live pack from my setlist. Please consider doing those soon.
Of course, if you want to just do all the live songs left, that would be awesome. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
January 2, 2015 at 6:58 am #435546Super stoked to have studio versions of those live tracks. Also excited to give the ones I don’t know a shot (I know, ridiculous that I’ve never heard it in full). Quite the accomplishment. How many AC/DC tracks does that make? Counting live versions, you may have overtaken the Genesis project for sheer quantity. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />I have 79 AC/DC songs in my list counting duplicate live and studio tracks. Not quite there yet.
January 2, 2015 at 6:04 pm #435566Happy 1st Anniversary Funky! Talk about rockin’ in the new year with style, thank you so much for the Back in Black full album. If I were going to be stranded on a deserted island and could only take one album with me, this may very well be the one I choose. It’s such an iconic hard rock masterpiece. It probably wouldn’t matter which record I had with me on the island though because even if there was some way to listen to it, I would most likely eat it eventually for sustenance (so many “Certified Angus” beefy riffs to feast upon).
Happy New Year to you Mr. Dunkleman. A million thanks as always for all the great customs that you’ve shared this past year (and also for the rather extensive history lesson in all things AC/DC). I eagerly look forward to anything & everything that you’re kind enough to share with us in the upcoming year.
January 4, 2015 at 1:39 am #435631You magnificent bastard!
Thanks for this, and happy 1 Year! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
January 4, 2015 at 4:19 am #435640Funky, you are a legend. Thanks for all your hard work.
January 4, 2015 at 4:35 am #435641Absolutely epic release! Thank you so much Funky! And happy 1 year anniversary! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> I can’t tell you what you did to a few of my band members. One almost shed tears and another started singing “Heart Attack” by One Direction and did some dance I’ve never seen in my life, so I should thank you for that as well!
January 6, 2015 at 6:07 am #435737Just letting you know, but Let Me Put My Love Into You, Shoot To Thrill, and You Shook Me All Night Long have the vocalist set as female.
January 8, 2015 at 1:10 am #435790Thank you very much for all your awesome Customs, I wish you a prosperous 2nd year of even more fantastic custom songs.
January 8, 2015 at 3:00 am #435798This is for you, L-O-K-I.
I have to admit, after listening to it several times, I really don’t care for this album. It just doesn’t do it for me. Don’t expect to see any more songs from it any time soon. The only ones I would even consider would be Rock the Blues Away and Got Some Rock n Roll Thunder – and even those wouldn’t be for awhile. Maybe I’ll warm up to it more over time, but for the most part, the album has been pretty blah to me. Not sure what I’ll work on next, but if it’s AC/DC, expect some good old Bon Scott.
January 8, 2015 at 11:36 am #435805Youuuuuu sonnofabitch.. you actually made the song.. big thanks!
I won’t ask for more ACDC.. but more Bon Scott is never a bad thing.
Maybe sometime though, I think Alice Cooper’s newest Welcome 2 My Nightmare.. or Jackyl’s Best in Show would be awesome for an album release!!
January 8, 2015 at 12:38 pm #435809I have one song in mind from Welcome 2 My Nightmare. The problem is I’d need to hire someone who is the absolute best at charting guitar. Perhaps the last person who did a John 5 song…
January 8, 2015 at 2:38 pm #435813Loving the work being done here! Funky you are the best. My son and I play all your stuff and we love the Bon Scott ACDC the most.
