December 20, 2014 at 12:51 am #434871dude thats absolutely amazing and don’t think people don’t like pop too its amazing work, do what ever you want not what everyone else wants its your work your doing no one is getting paid for this its all so we can all have a bit of fun thats all any of us are in it for
Thanks for the kind words. I wasn’t trying to apologize for doing pop. It’s just that with having so much testosterone being blasted in my face with these AC/DC tracks*, sometimes I need to cool off with something lighter. Usually that’s one song, maybe two, but this time I went a bit overboard. I’m glad for the people that love this stuff, but I’ll be happy to get back to charting real instruments.
*phrasing?
is there a reason you avoided “Shake It Off”?I don’t hate the song, but it’s definitely in the bottom third of the album for me. I would do another 3 or 4 from 1989 before I considered Shake It Off. I know drunk girls at parties would love to sing it, (and let’s be honest, drunk guys too), but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I thought someone else around here was considering doing it at one point.
December 20, 2014 at 1:05 am #434873Yeah, though I don’t think the metal cover version would be as much of a hit as the original for the females at Rock Band gatherings. :-XOr for 11 and 4 year old daughters! Good for people who like it, but the 4 year old would be off-put, to say the least. The 11 year old would probably get a bit of a kick out of it though.
December 20, 2014 at 7:20 pm #434922Those Taylor Swift songs + 99 Luftballons ARE KILLER!!!! I know plenty of people in my friends circle that would LOVE to play these songs. Thank you so much!
December 24, 2014 at 10:32 pm #435183I present to you, the 12 days of AC/DC Christmas. This is day one. (and 2, and 3, and 4…)
It’s just one day.
This song is, without a doubt the GREATEST CHRISTMAS SONG AC/DC EVER RECORDED. There, I said it. Attack me if you must. It needed to be said. As for overall Christmas songs, this is still in the top 10 thousand.
Merry Christmas everyone!
December 25, 2014 at 1:48 am #435187I knew you’d release this one in time for Christmas! We love you funky!
December 25, 2014 at 4:48 am #435193Thanks! I almost forgot to release this one.
One thing should be noted, my two previous releases from this album, Moneytalks and Are You Ready had the album title as The Razor’s Edge, when really it should’ve been without the apostrophe. Those files have since been updated. They can be downloaded here and here. You could also just change the .dta file of each and remove them yourself. Either way, this album won’t be clumped into a group of 3 without doing one of those. Sorry for the mistake.
December 25, 2014 at 12:12 pm #435202I actually like this song, but also acknowledge it’s kind of really stupid.
December 26, 2014 at 1:23 am #435216Man, that’s a real good job!
Thanks so much to both of you!
It’s funny I will sing a german song with german vocals in Germany made for RockBand in the USA… ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
December 26, 2014 at 3:29 am #435221More ACDC is awesome! But PLEASE.. at least do “dogs of war” and “hard times” from rock or bust
December 26, 2014 at 3:38 am #435222Goddamn you really want more from that album. Alright. I promise you I’ll do one of those once I finish up what I’m working on now. I will not start another custom until then. I still have some more stuff to finish up and release in the next couple of weeks, but I won’t start anything else from scratch.
Most authors would say ‘fuck off’ and move on, but they are my most authored band, and more tracks of the new album should be expected. I’ll get you at least one more RoB track in January. You have my word.
December 26, 2014 at 6:06 pm #435247That’s the reason I keep coming to your thread, because you are better than the others at service and playability (too many others WAY over use the 5th orange key for medium!)
If i had to choose one more ROB song… “Hard Times” first.. “Dogs of War” second.. those 2 songs would complete my phase shift experience!
December 26, 2014 at 7:41 pm #435253Me, I apreciate every AC/DC song, but I prefere 2 things :
– songs from albums between AC/DC debut and For those about to rock or between Ballbreaker and Black ice. I’m not a big fan of the period between Flick of the switch and The razors edge. Back in blacks song are my most wanted.
Rock or bust is good but definitely not a masterpiece (and certainly a little less good than the 3 precedents albums)
– polish of previous release (with rhythm guitar) to finish the job
And of course, I hope someone (maybe Espher when the harmonie project will be finished ?) wil add pitched lyrics.
And thank you for all your past and future releases. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
December 31, 2014 at 10:08 pm #435464It’s hard to believe that one year ago today, I released my first ever custom to the public – Eminem’s “Legacy”. Since then, I’ve learned a whole lot more. 2014 saw the release of over eighty customs in this thread. While I can’t guarantee that 2015 will be just as plentiful, I can say that 2014 is going out with a bang.
For the first time ever, I present the entire Back in Black album in its entirety. All 10 tracks from AC/DC’s 22x platinum record, which has sold over 50 million copies worldwide, second only to Thriller.
This nearly two month project is finally available to everybody. You can now play hits like You Shook Me All Night Long, Shoot to Thrill, Hells Bells, and Back in Black as their original, studio recordings. Also the previously released Have a Drink on Me has gotten a good makeover, with fixes on all instruments, as well as a rhythm guitar chart.
I must once again give credit to oscarj08. His base G/D charts weren’t always perfect, but they helped this project get done much faster, especially on the nail-biting solos for Shake a Leg.
I know this album is looooong overdue, but I wanted to wait until I was better at the authoring process to tackle this legendary record. I’m satisfied with the result, and I hope you will be too. Have a great new years!
Download the whole album as a pack, or individually below.
