Many thanks for these! I’ll give ’em a shot the next time I bust out the customs. Any chance that “Touch Too Much” is in the works?
February 11, 2014 at 5:56 pm #413876It’s definitely on the to do list. I’ll be taking a break from AC/DC for my next song, and when I come back it’ll probably be something from Brian, but trust me, nearly every Bon song is on the table. Thanks for the support.
February 11, 2014 at 8:25 pm #413880thank you, gonna play those ac/dc songs xd

February 12, 2014 at 7:29 am #413909Just wanted to let everyone know, before I continue showering the world with more AC/DC, I made some fixes to my existing songs to reflect my current authoring style. All that’s needed is an overwrite to the existing song. No Song ID change needed.
Songs updated:
Stiff Upper Lip
– Count-in updated
– Minor guitar chart updates (changed a few chords that weren’t)
– Added more overdrive on GBDKV
– Changed a fast strumming section to a tremolo
C.O.D.
– Count-in updated
– Fixed some guitar chords
– Removed G-B chords on medium
– Added more overdrive on GBDK
Are You Ready
– Count-in updated
– Fixed some visual glitches with harmony alignments
Safe in New York City
– Capitalized the ‘City’ of New York City in lyrics
Shot Down in Flames
– Removed hammer on that shouldn’t have been
– Minor note adjustments
– Added guitar chord at that finishes song (don’t know how that got overlooked)

Also, I’d like to give a big thanks to all that have shown their support and given feedback on these tracks. (Especially oscarj08 for letting me use his expert G/D midis.)
AC/DC is my favorite band of all time, and I’m glad there are others here who enjoy them as well. It definitely makes doing these songs much more rewarding. The fact that I can sit and strum Angus’ solos on my fake plastic guitar is cool, but when I picture other players throughout the country doing it, either themselves or with a group of people, well that’s just epic.
I still find it pretty damn awesome that they have 9 studio tracks in the game now, and 7 are because of me. Even if I were to stop now, I would have left quite an imprint. But of course I’m not stopping anytime soon… I’m not even half way there. Rock on!

You said 9 in total, you made 7, one is LTBR, and the other??

I though there was another song with multitracks that I didn’t know of
February 13, 2014 at 7:08 am #413943Time for my court appointed non-AC/DC song!
I don’t know if you guys are ready for this yet… but your kids are gonna love it!
The number one song for eight straight weeks in the summer of 1955!
Vocals and guitar are the main attractions here. It’s a fun one to sing, and I had a pretty good midi to work with, so there shouldn’t be too many faults there. I sang it several times without my tone deaf ears noticing anything off. Guitar will challenge the best. One of my favorite solos ever. There is sax throughout the song, but it basically covers the guitar riff, so I didn’t chart it and decided to place the sax solo onto the guitar track. Bass is the same low-high riff repeated.
Drums posed a bit of a challenge for me, since the drummer is doing rim-clicks the entire song. I don’t know what the official HMX Commandment is on this one, since I don’t ever remember a song having them. I decided not to chart them as it would make the chart 0% fun 100% challenge. I charted everything else I could hear, which makes it kind of dull in the end.
I hope you enjoy this one. I always wanted to do an oldie and I thought this one deserved a place in the Rock Band library.
I also thought as a fun contest, whoever can be the first to 100% this song on expert guitar and post a video of it here, gets the right to choose whatever AC/DC track they would like for me to do next. Any takers?
February 13, 2014 at 1:17 pm #413950Wow!
Thanks so much for the early rock n’ roll!
February 13, 2014 at 1:22 pm #413951Thank you so much for Rock Around The Clock! Been wanting it forever!
February 14, 2014 at 3:35 am #413997Got another AC/DC track that should be up tomorrow. Which one is it? I’ll give you a hint, the word rock shows up 27 times, equating to 11.8% of it’s lyrics.
