All download links are now in the OP.
“What about Love” now has pro keys. No 5-lane keys yet, so stay tuned!

August 28, 2015 at 2:17 pm #453802If I may interject, I can’t wait for Heard It In A Love Song and What About Love to be full band….those are insta-DL’s for me.
Would be nice to get some more Heart and Styx too….they both seem lacking in my catalog.
August 29, 2015 at 5:22 am #453883Thanks for the encouragement. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
“Heard It in a Love Song” now has pro keys. No 5-lane, yada yada.
“Witchy Woman” doesn’t have any keyboards, so now it’s onto other parts!

September 18, 2015 at 3:43 am #455238Vocals for all songs are complete, including harmonies for the songs that have them. I tweaked pro keys on “Boat on the River” as well, so they’re a little more accurate now, if not wholly accurate. Download links in the OP.
I originally opted not to put percussion hits in the vocal track of “Boat on the River”, because in the original song you can hear where the tambourine actually stops playing for the mandolin solo. But I’ve just about decided I’ll put some hits in anyway, since that’s an awfully long time for the singer to be doing nothing. I’m open to opinions, though, so I’ll ask: Yea or nae to vocal percussion hits in “Boat on the River”?
September 18, 2015 at 1:11 pm #455256No pressure, but it looks like things are looking good for getting this group of songs done in time for Halloween Rock Band parties?

Thanks for the updates.

I recently realized there are actually two songs I should get done before Halloween. I’ll give those priority. Six weeks should be plenty of time to at least get them full-band if not with the full complement of bells and whistles.
But at any rate I’d like to think I’ll get all seven songs finished before then. We shall see!
September 18, 2015 at 10:06 pm #455329Thank you for the updates and all your great work on these songs. Its much appreciated! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
October 2, 2015 at 2:30 am #456401“What about Love” now has 5-lane guitar and bass, which means it is now full-band, though still expert-only and without any real 5-lane keys just yet. Overdrive sections and practice markers are all in place, so you expert players can have at it. Reductions, 5-lane keys, and maybe some slight polishing of the venue will happen before I call it “done”. But before then, I have six other songs to add guitar and bass to.
I still hope to have all the current WIPs done by Halloween. Actually I hope to have them done much sooner than that, but Halloween is my self-imposed deadline.
October 2, 2015 at 7:39 am #456408thanks for the guitar part in what about love
October 4, 2015 at 3:56 am #456664“Honesty” now has guitar and bass, making it full-band.
Edit: I also knocked the pro-keys difficulty for “Honesty” down to three dots. Those chords full of black keys still give me grief, but I can’t honestly say for a “decent” keyboard player this song is any harder than “My Life”, which Harmonix also rated three dots. “Decent” is open to interpretation, but for now I’ll just accept some of my three-dot-worthy skills are better than others.
