What do you do after you type in your e-mail and it says “Enjoy your free song!”?
Nevermind, I just got the e-mail. For some reason it didn’t go through right.

Careful, statistics show it’s bad for your reputation to agree with me.

This. They ran that “inclusion suggestions” thread for months. Then the game came out. People noticed not a single suggestion made it into the game. Then the thread disappeared. They didn’t unpin it…it just went poof. What’s the point?
November 12, 2015 at 6:14 am #459165According to the internet, 8% of men are color blind in some amount and are 16 times as likely to have this defect as are women. You’d think this would deserve some of Harmonix’s attention if they’re worried about being inclusive?

A marketing campaign is not about inclusivity, it’s about promotion. And I haven’t seen a single thing in the game that points to HMX wanting to be inclusive, there is not net-gain changes they made to the game.
November 12, 2015 at 3:16 pm #459176it’s also way easier to offer a free song by signing up to x than making changes to the actual game. it’s not a fair comparison

That’s the point, it’s not in the game (beyond masculine/feminine instead of male/female and clothing being usable by both types), but for months they ran a thread about inclusion suggestions, specifically asking people for ways they could make RB4 be inclusive to players that in the past were excluded for one reason or another. It was a very active thread, and then the game came out, nothing suggested made it, thread disappeared.
November 12, 2015 at 4:48 pm #459183if i wanted to get a code i’d just use a throwaway email anyway
Yup. No matter what the promotion tie-in is, I always use a throwaway address since the advertising partner never seems to take you off their damn mailing list even after you ask.
Marketers, man. The worst people.
November 13, 2015 at 10:34 pm #459251awesome. i’m already on scruff. but i don’t need the free song.

…If they bring back the feature GH2/GH3 had in the past, to be able to atleast play guitar/bass on normal joystick; they would include for example in my home 5 more people to RB world, and 5 more people to buy songs and content from the store rather than just me.The other people here are too old, or women, and enjoyed the rhythm games when they were played in joystick too, unfortunately in the “only instrument joy” era there’s no one here just me, playing these games now. . and trust me, they’ll never learn to play with instruments joystick ’cause I had a painful path teaching how to use a joystick, and it’s their limit. About gay people and avatar in RB, strangely the gay people I know who play the gam. made avatars based a little(or a lot)in famous rockers(male/female) not caring about the fact the avatar would not look like them.If this was really important to them, then The Sims would never made this far,,,just my opinion.
