Hey everyone! I had to take a hiatus from charting for a while because life reared its ugly head (as it is apt to do) and I didn’t have a lot of time for customs. Hopefully that’ll change from here on out. In the meantime I’ve got a few new customs for you guys that I hope you enjoy.
“A new GLaDOS song?” you might be thinking. “Does that mean there’s a Portal 3???” Sadly, no. This is actually the credits song for LEGO Dimensions, which features a Chell minifigure and two levels based on Portal 2. It’s one of the weirdest crossovers ever, but it works, and this song is classic Jonathan Coulton.

Next up is a big hit by O.A.R. (Surprised no one’s charted these guys yet.) You may not know it by name, but I guarantee you’ll recognize it as soon as that chorus kicks in.

Lastly, Guitar Hero Live got me into this noise pop group and this song quickly became one of my favorites. It’s a bit simple, but that riff is iconic and it gets explosive near the end.

Reductions are by beard216, as always. There are also a few updates in the first post. Le Disko now has CAT reductions (not sure how I missed that one) and It’s Time now has harmonies and pro keys courtesy of ShadowMaurix. Thanks for the help you guys!

My mind went to “Robots FTW” (the one you hear when you finish the co-op). It would be fun for a bit but get boring quite quickly. “Want You Gone” would be fun to sing. Ellen McLain has a wonderful voice. It was so nice to hear her in “Pacific Rim” as the Jaeger AI.
Man, now I just want to play Portal 2 again. The part right at the end when she chucks out the beat-up Weighted Companion Cube after you nearly brought me to tears (yeah yeah, laugh, I know).

Honestly, I’m not the biggest fan of Portal 2 itself, I prefer the first by far (I’ve always felt that Portal 2 goes on a bit too long and overstays its welcome) but yeah, Want You Gone would be fun on vocals, it’s a shame the YouTube chart never got released and the rechart from over here didn’t get pitched vocals (and has timing issues)

So I’m slowly but surely trying to get back into the customs scene. I just got a new office job that’s made it difficult to find time to work on charting, but I’m managing.
I’m Alive and My Heart Will Go On are almost done – they’re just missing bass, but otherwise are ready to play. I’ve removed Battle Without Honor or Humanity because bsbloom beat me to the punch on that one. Be sure to check out his version in the database. It’s a fantastic song.
I’ve also added Blue Swede – Hooked on a Feeling and twenty one pilots – Heathens to the opening post!
Removed My Heart Will Go On, I’m Alive, and Heathens as all three are now available in the database.
Also added The Lonely Island – Finest Girl to the opening post.
Added AWOLNATION – Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf) and Nerf Herder – Buffy the Vampire Slayer Theme to the opening post.
