One is obviously Genesis. The other one I can’t tell. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I’m gonna go out on a wild hunch and say the other one might have been either Prince or U2; all bands that had no representation in Rock Band that are some of the biggest artists in the world. I know there has been a few songs already released through C3 of U2, but they have a large discography.

I would seriously tone down expectations because it’s not gonna be some long awaited thing like Genesis at all. In the meantime we can all enjoy some good MJ. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif”>
February 23, 2015 at 2:26 am #439090There is always those Rush albums that need to be brought up to C3 standards. I’m no soothsayer but one can dream.

Oh, no expectations at all on my end. I was just saying in regards to an artist that in conversation for the original “Chronicles” treatment that Genesis ended up getting, if there were three that were highly discussed and MJ was another, I would have put money on the third artist being one of those two in the conversation simply due to how popular they are in the music world/lack of content in RB. That’s all I was getting at. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_happy.png” />

This is something we will never get tired of saying: it’s not how the process works. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> Genesis didn’t happen because we saw a lack of Genesis songs, it happened because I love Genesis and plenty of people pitched in big time to make it happen. The same goes for the Weird Al megapack and others. It all starts from what we love to listen to and play, it’s not a matter of merits. And that’s why I cautioned you against thinking big because the next Chronicles pack, if in fact happens, it’s going to be something I like a lot and that I have already released. It’s not niche but it’s not a Pink Floyd-people screaming out loud kinda release. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> Anyway, lack of songs in the music game world has no bearing on our production because we don’t sell, so we do what we love to see in game. We try to give our community what they would like but always inside a frame of what we can bear to do over a 14 hours span per song. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>

But how can C3: Rush happen if Time Stands Still? (I’ll show myself out)

It’s all good, I totally understand authoring stuff you like and stuff you listen to; I can’t imagine I (if I ever decide to take a weekend and learn the process) would ever author a song or songs I didn’t care to listen to to begin with. Luckily, like you it seems, there isn’t much out there I don’t enjoy. Can’t wait to see what’s being released tomorrow!
