Heres a wonderful topic Im sure has been discussed but this is my way of talking about my favorite cover.
The Suicide Machines – I Never Promised You A Rose Garden
So fantastic & it adds some necessary flavor to an otherwise plain song (sorry to those who enjoy the original). Its a rocking tune that amps up the original in a great way. What about yall?

ETA: also one of the best anti-war songs ever written (imho)…
The Police – Don’t Be Cruel originally made by Elvis Praisley.

Forcing me to choose one is torture. But it came to mind pretty easily. William Elliott Whitmore’s cover of Bad Religion’s Don’t Pray on Me. Both are below!
Okay, I’m cheating and posting a truly unknown one. Some chick named Lauren O’Connell on YouTube covering Warren Zevon’s Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner.
Great White did a great version of Humble Pie – 30 Days In a Hole, as well as the well known remake of Once Bitten Twice Shy
