In my last project designing ID prototypes for international students, I started with a template pack from dl template free and customized it with patterns reflecting each student’s heritage flags and motifs. It turned out that adapting border ornamentation and color palettes to local cultural conventions made a huge difference. For example, I used jade tones and calligraphic fonts for an East Asian theme, whereas for a Middle Eastern take I leaned on geometric patterns and warmer hues. The site’s editable layers allowed me to tweak everything without rebuilding the layout from scratch. I found that these templates saved hours of prep and kept my designs authentic to each region’s aesthetic.
