Ok, so after several days of autistic screeching, being ignorant towards fellow C3 members (sorry about that guys. Talking to you, rubydanger) and rage quitting, I’ve figured out the issue with the Vocal Phrase overlap, the Grammar issues, and the Phrase Markers. I’m still having issues with the missaligned lyrics, missing lyric, and the “Vocal note at X is outside any phrases” <(BTW, this error keeps popping up with the timestamp being 1:1:000, and the only events that are placed there are the "[idle_realtime]" & "PART VOCALS" events, neither of which are supposed to have phrase markers. {I think})

If Magma tells you there is an error, there is an error. You can be sure of that.

What you can’t be sure of is where exactly that error is. There are known limitations with how Magma parses MIDI that can lead to incorrect position numbers, including the infamous 1:1:000. Unfortunately that means you have to go looking for what is missing or misaligned. The good news is notes outside of phrases are pretty easy to spot when you look at each phrase marker and check for notes before or beyond it. As for lyrics, the easiest thing to do would be to wipe out all current lyric markers and reimport them… You are keeping your lyrics in a separate file for easy importing, right? <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

For future projects, CAT can also help ensure your phrase markers are where they should be, to prevent those stray notes from escaping.

yes, I do keep the lyrics separate.

However, I’ve used CAT multiple times, and magma still gives me errors. What’s weirder is that I can’t run CARV, yet I can run CAT.
