Hey guys, so I’m working on my first custom and I’m trying export it via Magma. I keep getting this error and I can’t get past it

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: PART KEYS: Empty track found

This means that at least one of the difficulties for PART KEYS has no notes charted – you have to add something or MagmaCompiler will refuse to compile the song.

I have an Expert Keys + Expert Pro Keys part

I’ve added a single lane shift + 1 note to each Pro Keys difficulty to try to fix it (Have not fully charted any non-expert pro keys yet)

The 5 lane/ pro tracks aren’t muted
I check the MIDI with the C3 CON Song Analyzer and it does detect the Keys part

Any idea as to what’s wrong? Any help is appreciated, thanks ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />)

Maybe you have another MIDI track with the Track Name event “PART KEYS”?

I only have PARTS KEYS_ANIM_RH and LH

Did you check in every MIDI items?

PART KEYS refers specifically to the 5-lane keyboard track, so editing the Pro Keys/Animation Tracks wouldn’t have any effect.

Do you have E/M/H parts for 5-lane keys? If not, add at least one note per diffuclty. This should fix the problem.

Thanks for all your suggestions but I just ended up reducing every single part and that basically fixed all of my problems aha

Try to clean midi and make a new rb3proj…
