And that’s the spirit!!! Since Thanksgiving is not a holiday in my country, we are basically in Christmas mood starting fm November.
Look forward to all of this, specially Jose Feliciano’s Feliz Navidad ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

November 1, 2016 at 9:48 pm #477140South Park is the best. Mr. Hankey is the best.
And on a quick side note, the new season of South Park has been really great.

Christmas can’t come soon enough.November 2, 2016 at 12:06 pm #477174Holy shit, this is a very cool project! Ronettes, Brenda Lee, Darlene Love, the song from “Christmas Vacation”! And this guy!
November 5, 2016 at 12:57 pm #477323Hey guys! Anybody celebrating Christmas early like me yet? I always go full force as soon as November hits cause I love Christmas so much. I watched Home Alone 1 and 2 this week, such great movies. And Elf was on TV last night! — obligatory itshappening.gif. I also saw SiriusXM has the Christmas channel on now! I was so excited ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />. I also signed up for Reddit Secret Santa the other day too. I can’t wait until they add the Fireplace channel on TV. I wanna make this project fun so I will probably talk about Christmas stuff throughout the releases, hope that’s okay. You don’t always have to read my posts if you don’t want to but I like to express myself!
Anyway, here’s today’s release, hope you like it!
Christmas Classics Part 1
José Feliciano – “Feliz Navidad”
I don’t know about you, but I think this is the definitive version of this song. Not only is this version my favourite but whenever someone mentions this song I always think of this version. I think it translates to Rock Band pretty well too. There’s 2 guitars in this song and I tried to chart mostly the right side cause it was more fun but there are parts where the left side is charted where the right side is absent. Some fun licks on guitar and a couple of drum fills make this song really great.
Brenda Lee – “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”
Again, I think this is the version of this song everybody (or most) prefer. One of my favourite things about Christmas is the oldie songs. Like 40s, 50s… I absolutely love it. This song has something for everybody and that sax solo on keys is really fun.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers – “Christmas All Over Again”
Ah yes, this song. This is one of the first Christmas songs I’ll play to start off the season. It’s a great tune by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers which I’m sure you might have heard if the title doesn’t ring a bell. The standout on this song is clearly the drums. There are a lot of fun, varied drum fills in this as well as the rest of the band is actually pretty decent too.
Slade – “Merry Xmas Everybody”
When people used to mention this song to me or bring it up, I had no idea what they were talking about. When I finally looked it up I had an “oh that song” moment. I’m a pretty big Doctor Who fan and this is basically the “Doctor Who Christmas song” lol. Guitar has some fun licks and the rest of the band isn’t bored in this one either.
I’m hoping to have another release next week, and it may or may not be as many songs as this but like I said before, releases will happen all November and December!
Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals!
November 5, 2016 at 1:04 pm #477324Legendary release indeed, thank you so much. Also, since charting takes a while, you must have been listening to christmas music since September, right?

ehhh, I think it was more first week of October actually (DON’T JUDGE YO). Some of these songs didn’t take as long to chart as some others.

As long as you don’t burn out on christmas music, I’m all for this ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />. We have much to be grateful for!

What I love about your Christmas choices are the variety of decades that you are doing. I absolutely love old Christmas classics, but I love the newer Christmas songs just as much!
You totally Rock, drummerockband! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
