Over the past few months I’ve made many, many Dream Theater pro keys charts. About 20 so far, although I could definitely have at least 35. Almost all of these are charted with sheet music, so I know they’re accurate. The problem is, I didn’t chart the other instruments! I have an idea that I hope people will like.
Dream Theater is one of the most well-known and respected prog bands out there. Unfortunately, Harmonix has only released three Dream Theater songs. Other DT songs have charts for drums, some guitar, some keys, etc… but I want to make these charts into full band.
You probably know where I’m going with this. I’m suggesting creating somewhat of a new Rock Band track pack, similar to The Beatles: Rock Band or Green Day: Rock Band. And it would be really fun! There are certainly some problems with this idea though, which I’ll explain.
The main problem is that there are a lot of songs to chart, and it would simply take too much time for just one or two people to chart! This is mainly why I’m posting this; I’d like to ask as many of you as possible to help in the charting process.
This doesn’t need to be a secret thing or anything; what I mean by that is that we don’t need to “surprise” you guys with releases. In fact, I’ll have a list of progress of charted songs on each instrument. This way we can keep track of what songs are charted and which songs aren’t. I’ll make that list if this idea gets enough people’s attention.
As of now I’ll list which songs I’ve charted on pro keys. I’ll also collect other previously made charts if this idea follows through. Then, we can work on the other charts. I certainly hope this works!

Beyond This Life – lol, I HIGHLY doubt it’s the live in Budokan version, because that keyboard/drum solo 14 minutes in is epic, but that 19 minute long live version would be a nightmare to chart on pro keys.
Are you able to upload any(or all if possible)of the songs you have so far? I love pro keys myself and would love to play whatever you have!
I applaud your efforts and hopefully charters will pitch in. Definitely looking forward to any songs that become of this.
I’d be interested in helping out with guitar and bass charts.
EDIT: I actually have guitar charts for Another Day and Beneath The Surface, and a WIP chart of Octavarium.

Isaac, I know about Grinnz’s charts and another guy’s, so yeah that definitely saves up time! Still quite some drum charts left to do though.
