Hey guys, been a while since I’ve posted up around here. Not sure if anyone has seen one of my old posts floating around but there has been something that I’ve been working on recently. And surprise, surprise!! This time it’s not something hugely outta my league But, no doubt, I need your help!

I’ve recently been wanting to work on an album that actually got me into metal in my teenage years.. See You On The Other Side, by Korn. All multitracked. (I also have Remember Who You Are and The Path of Totality, but that’s another story)

There will be a few steps involved

All tracks will have a number associated with it. The code will be as follows:

    1) Tempo mapped

    2) Drums charted (expert only)

    3) Guitar and bass charted (expert only)

    4) Playtested

    5) Difficulty reduced for all instruments

    6) Overdrive added

    7) Further playtesting (I’m a beginner, so I always worry I’ve done something wrong. There is no such thing as too much playtesting)

Vocals, Keys (for those that have it), Venues and Animations will be the finishing touch.. as in, I have no idea what I am doing, please help me, when the time comes

    My progress so far:

    Twisted Transistor

    Politics

    Hypocrites – 1

    Souvenir – 3

    10 Or A 2-Way

    Throw Me Away

    Love Song

    Open Up

    Coming Undone – 3

    Getting Off

    Liar

    For No One

    Seen It All – 3

    Tearjerker

    Too Late, I’m Dead

    It’s Me Again

    Eaten Up Inside

Last Legal Drug (Le Petit Mort)

    Appears

    Inside Out

Songs for you to playtest! (No OD, Expert only, G/B/D)

But I have a question. The stems have drums as a whole, rather than splitting out the toms, kick and snare, so how would I go about that?

As you do for the other instruments, just use the default Drum Mix in Magma.

Thanks for the speedy reply! I’ll keep that in mind
