June 4, 2015 at 2:06 pm #447103It’s a Phil Collins smorgasbord! Forgot one, though…
“Phil Collins’ solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. Sabrina, don’t just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.”
June 4, 2015 at 3:04 pm #447111One nice thing about Phil and this stage of his solo career…
He loved the drum machine. Consequently, mapping is a relative breeze. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

July 3, 2015 at 4:25 pm #449422i kinda knew it was coming since you updated the status for sussudio yesterday and removed the “pending collaboration”.
Great job there

July 9, 2015 at 10:32 am #449872Good choices for the Pointer Sisters, looking forward to the older Phil songs.
I wish it would rain down some Eric Clapton with Phil Collins.
August 3, 2015 at 10:03 pm #452013[May-14-15] Added:OK. A little explanation is in order for this one.
I took this GH convert by spindoctor6969 (to which Sideshow added drums) with the intention of adding vocals, perhaps keys. This has been done, bringing it up to FB.
While I was at it, I decided to check and see how the original audio would work in the project.
Turns out it works pretty damn well. At least well enough to allow for this test.

Give it a try, and let me know if you find any issues, particularly with the tempo map.
You know how there are 2x bass versions of songs? Could it be possible if you made a second version of this song where there are percussion notes on the vocals? There is a single tambourine clap between each lyric, when the song gets going. It would be fun to do that with the mic. I tried doing it a while back, to my own conversion of the GH song but they didn’t show up in game for some reason.

September 6, 2015 at 8:49 pm #454413Never has an emoticon been more appropriate.like your profile picture, I’ve already had messages with one of the support staff of harmonix about something else and at the end i jibed think about supporting keys if only for the legacy songs because its bit sad for those who have the product and songs to use it on for it to be just cut off like an extra limb
September 8, 2015 at 6:58 pm #454526Thanks for sharing this song Dash, i’m sure it will be lots of fun, specially since it’s the kind of song that can get my wife involved.
Also good to see you are still tackling the wip’s, look forward to the other Phil Collins tracks ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Saludos!
