I do know about Poundcake. Unfortunately, it’s not on my to do list.
Probably for the best. I don’t need to be destroying my RB Telecaster with a power drill.

May 27, 2015 at 7:02 pm #446507JAAA you da man, since no poundcake, was about to ask if you had plans for completing some of your other songs,
including Crazy!!! Gracias! Gracias! Gracias!
I remember you mentioned that you were working on them based on downloads they have received, but since these were drums only, hope you don’t overlook them:
Just a Gigolo – David Lee Roth (following the Van Halen streak ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />)
And We Danced – The Hooters (cool 80s track)
Saludos!

Perhaps not surprisingly, there are a number of lyrical interpretations of this song. I think I got most of it right, but I need your help. There are several phrases where I just haven’t been able to decipher Dave. I’ve marked the most egregious examples with talkies and tagged the phrase with OD, but there may be others.
Who wants to play ‘WTF did Dave say?’? ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
“Excuse me, miss. I speak Dave.”
I’ll take a look tonight.
Also…is using a hyphen to separate the two conjoined songs how RB typically handles such things? I’m trying to remember examples of this. In the customs world, I think Alan Parsons Project’s “Sirus/Eye in the Sky” was separated by a slash. I guess it doesn’t really matter, just one of those “consistency for consistency sake kind of things” (I work in software QA for a living).

See: “The Hellion / Electric Eye” from the main games and the Abbey Road song suites from The Beatles: Rock Band.
May 30, 2015 at 12:19 am #446680Ok…I think you have the question marks in the right place. Listened to it 3 times…could not make out.
June 3, 2015 at 4:32 pm #447013Oh boy…now he’s working through No Jacket Required!!!
June 3, 2015 at 4:45 pm #447016Been hoping for Dont Lose My Number for quite sometime. Great to see you are planning to do it! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
June 3, 2015 at 7:06 pm #447033No Jacket Required! woopie!
I love that album so I imagine at least one of them has to be
“sussudio, One More Night, Don’t Lose my Number”

I hope I didn’t get your hopes up. Dash has put “Don’t Lose My Number” into his “WIP” queue. Only he knows if he’s actually doing anything else off of this album. My (intended) joke was playing off of the fact that he just posted another “solo Phil” (yet not really “solo Phil”) song with Philip Bailey’s “Easy Lover”.
June 3, 2015 at 7:29 pm #447035Phil Collins is definitely on my to do list for my C3 retirement days, maybe Dash will still be interested in doing more Collins. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
June 3, 2015 at 7:39 pm #447038Wow somehow I missed that. Don’t Lose My Number is one of my top … infinity song requests! Seriously I have so many I can’t even remember them all.
I need to check this thread more carefully…
