Hi,
I noticed some lingo/acronyms in reference to some of the customs, but wasn’t sure what the meanings were. Is there a thread or something with some definitions for the noobs like me out there?
I was curious what reductions, cat3?, and dryvox means.
Thanks! : )
Read the Authoring Tools forum.
Reductions are the difficulties easy, medium and hard reduced from expert only. CAT is a script run in Reaper (an authoring program) that helps with reductions, it is an author’s tool. Dryvox is another vocal used for making lip sync. I know it’s hard starting out, but the more you read the faster you will learn. You will get a lot of “read this” replies, when asking questions answered a lot. Please do read as much as possible, the C3 people have docs that answer almost any noob question. It is best to read and search before asking questions. Otherwise you will get “read this” a lot. There is a little help.
thanks guys.
