I just recently learned how to pitch vocals and what not, so I was wondering, am I able to download a custom from the database that doesn’t have vocals, add vocals, and upload it to the database again? Or do I need the author’s consent? Or send the custom or MIDI to the author?

I’d say it’s a bad idea to just upload it to the database if it’s already there, you should ask the author first.
