My guess for Song #1 The Friends of Distinction – Grazing in the Grass.

    #484092

Great Scott!…..could it be for #1 Arlo Guthrie – “Coming Into Los Angeles”?

I hope I’m right for two reasons, I really like this tune and I stole Housequake’s cookies!! (at least the ones she thought she was getting) Lol!

Great stuff Spindoctor! If all guesses are correct….. with just how cool these songs are, I’m really curious what that bonus songs gonna be!

Keep guessing people, I’m not 100% on my guess and Housequake probably will get a kick outta seeing someone else get those cookies if I’m mistaken.

They are all bands, no solo artists

    # 3 could be tough, if you don’t get the first 2 I will be disappointed, they been requested a lot over the years.

The hints are all pertaining to the song titles

Some great guesses, unfortunately no one has got #1 yet

#2 is The Four Seasons – December 1963

#3 is Boney M – Rivers of Babylon

I thought #1 was the easiest to get.

I really want to release the bonus track on Friday so here is another set of hints for #1

There have been many versions of this song including a french version, it was originally recorded in 1940 about the time Funkmeister was a very young lad :haw:

Some of the artists who covered this song include

    Harry Belafonte

    Petula Clark

    Ferlin Husky

    Buck Owens

    Tesla

It reached #1 in the country that Trump is gonna put a fence at the border of.

We have a bingo on all 3, great job guys & girls, everybody thank TheWay123 & MrPrezident for their detective work

I will be posting the visualizers for you to vote on in a couple hours for 2 out of 3 ain’t bad

25 voters gets you these 3 songs come Friday plus the bonus track I mentioned.

I had a lot of fun with this, you guys make this shit fun to do, thanks for making my day.

    #1 Creedence – Cotton Fields

    #2 The Four Seasons – December 1963 ( Oh What a Night)

    #3 Boney M – Rivers of Babylon

A few hints as to the bonus song, it was written about a dog who died.

The dogs owner was in a very, very, very, very, very, very popular oldies band

I have never heard of another dog named like this.

There is no prize for the correct guess this time, I am all out of shitty tasting internet cookies.

I will not reveal the answer till Friday.

    Thanks for playing along

I KNOW what that bonus song is…..out of this week’s choices that one is by far the one I’d want most…(holds sentimental value to me) Thanks, my friend!

Don’t forget to vote guys! 25 votes gets all 4!

    See y’all Friday!

    Good day plastic rockers

This week on 2 out of 3 ain’t bad it’s real oldies week.

I had a lot of fun with the trivia earlier today while I was slaving away at my cushy government job.

Here’s how 2 out of 3 ain’t bad works for those who haven’t stopped by before.

    I post 3 song visualizers

You can vote on the 2 you would like to see released on Friday

10 voters gets 1 song released

15 voters gets 2 songs released Friday

25 voters gets all 3 songs released Friday.

I did promise a bonus song if my trivia was figured out. It was so this could be a 4 song week depending on how many voters.

Funkmeister does have the answer to the bonus track, he PM’d me as to not ruin the surprise for others, thanks for that my friend.

This weeks songs are not the most fun on guitar, 2 of the 3 are basically strumfest, rhythm guitar parts.

I think they should be fun on bass & drums. One was extremely hard for me to author the drum toms & I did the best I could as I don’t play drums.

For those of us north of 35 they should be very fun songs to sing at RB3 get togethers.

I make these for my buddy & I, we had a blast singing these. I hope you do as well.

As always I am not a pro at authoring, I do my best & have a lot of fun making & sharing with the great people of this site.

    ok show & tell time

I would love pitched vocals on these, and I look forward to drums on boney m, I know it must have been hard.

    I agree Domino

I am always open to sharing my files with whoever would be kind enough to add pitched vocals or upgrade in anyway.

Most of the songs I do I use pro midis & the vocals tracks are pitched in them. Like most great authors will tell you, they are never right & need tweaked.

Ha, ha, Doc! :smug: He’s not that old!

I had a lot of fun with the trivia earlier today while I was slaving away at my cushy government job.

I can relate! Too bad today wasn’t as cushy as it could be for me.

Is that what you kids are calling them these days, get togethers ? Well for my weekly Friday sock-hops, we do “new stuff” first to warm up, and your songs have always appeared in that playlist for what seems like a long, long time. Cheers buddy.
