      OMG!

Oceansize is my favorite band! Any prog lovers who aren’t familiar with them should definitely get acquainted with Frames, Everyone Into Position, and Effloresce. Can’t get enough.

      Thank you so much!! <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> :haw:

Ehhh I’d be a little hesitant to call them prog, at least in the traditional sense.

Fun fact: They named themselves after the Jane’s Addiction song “Ocean Size” from the Nothing’s Shocking album.

I’ve heard bands similar to them be described as “alt-prog” before, which I think fits a bit better since they’re basically a heavy alternative rock band with post-rock influences. Unfortunately though, it’s between either “Prog (Prog Rock)” or “Metal (Prog” for fitting genre tags.
