Setlist Manager does exporting to CSV, Excel and PDF. You can check out the source code to that for how it’s done. I recently re-purposed that source code for exporting data to Excel for a program I’m working on for my office and it still holds up

June 30, 2017 at 12:11 pm #487030Hi, I used the Setlist manager to create my original Rockband A4 Booklet, but this uses the Rockband Songlist Cache file from the Xbox, would be great if this App could implement the same output so that any additions can be done seperately. Otherwise it’s upload the songs to Xbox, re-download the Cache file and reprint the whole booklet again..
June 30, 2017 at 12:39 pm #487031Sounds to me like you haven’t tried throwing CON files or packs at Setlist Manager. If you had, you would know it already accepts them just the same.
June 30, 2017 at 12:51 pm #487032Hi TrojanNemo,
I Just tried that but cannot create a New Setlist for RB3 as it is greyed out only available for RB4 !
Did try to create a New RB4 setlist and drag and drop the RB3 con files but nothing shows up on the setlist even though it says song added.
Ahh! Just tried now after also loading my Songcache and now the new setlist for RB3 is not greyed out so can create seperate playlists.
Realised that when first installing the program it reverts to RB4 mode, changed to RB3 mode and all good (Blame my age)
Many thanks..
Also miss your customs have not seen any for ages…

July 19, 2017 at 2:07 am #488031I assume this is for XBOX users but not much help for those using the Wii, correct?
July 19, 2017 at 3:58 am #488041It is made to work with CON files, which is what the Xbox 360 runs. Are they also used to convert to the Wii and PS3 versions?
July 19, 2017 at 4:03 am #488042All customs for Rock Band are made for Xbox and then converted to PS3 and Wii formats. They’re not much different in structure but hold files loose in a folder rather than inside a CON package.

Oui, we Wii users run the CON file through the C3 Con Tools to extract the guts, then use the guts to create new files needed for the Wii. So after I extract those files, I delete the CONs, otherwise I’d have double the drive space eaten up by customs. No worries if this doesn’t help us Wii users. I know we’re few and far between. I was just curious. I didn’t want to be missing out on something cool if I didn’t have to be ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
July 31, 2017 at 6:52 pm #488653Thank you sooo much for this program! This is what I have been looking for. I just have one question, well make that two…
1. Can you make a print out of certain parts of it?
2. Why doesn’t it keep the library files? Am I missing something, I was hoping to be able to store the songs I have already downloaded, so I don’t keep downloading them..
Thank You Again!

1. I don’t know quite how to handle that, but you could copy and paste any selected rows into Microsoft Word to print (make sure you paste while keeping the source formatting).
2. The way the program works is it allows you to view all of the CON files in one folder. Are you saying you want to be able to view CON files in multiple folders at the same time? Or every time you load a file, you want the program to remember it any time you start it?

You can see how it’s done in C3 CON Tools’ Setlist Manager source code.
