This is exactly what I wanted to get into customs for. I’m too anal for non-multitrack customs, so this is where my realistic wishlist needs to come from, and I’m grateful you did it before I had to.

More for my own cataloging than anything (who needs to add pressure to these guys doing a huge service to RB’s last remaining fans), but this is my ideal wishlist:

Yellowcard - The Takedown (if Van Halen was full band, I don't remember)
Silversun Pickups - There's No Secrets This Year
    Third Eye Blind - Graduate
    Airborne Toxic Event - Gasoline
Cold War Kids - Hang Me Up To Dry
    N.E.R.D. - Rock Star
Brand New - Sic Transit Gloria... Glory Fades
    Goo Goo Dolls - Name
Silversun Pickups - It's Nice to Know You Work Alone
    Snow Patrol - You're All I Have
    Snow Patrol - Hands Open
Thrice - All The World Is Mad
    Vampire Weekend - Holiday
Vampire Weekend - The Kids Don't Stand A Chance
    Vampire Weekend - Cousins

Where is Jet City Woman? I can’t find a download of it.

The version of ‘The Devil Went Down To Georgia’ in Guitar Hero 3 is actually by Steve Ouimette, which was released awhile ago by GHtoRB3.

I’ve also seen these floating around as full band customs:

      GH3 DLC:

Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain – I Am Murloc

Martin O’Donnell, Steve Vai – Halo Theme MJOLNIR Mix

Steve Oumiette – Top Gun Anthem

      GH6:

Megadeth – This Day We Fight!

Metallica feat. Ozzy Osbourne – Paranoid (Live)

      Muse – Uprising

      GH DLC:

      Misfits – Astro Zombies

ProtoShredanoid – Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits Theme

Isn’t this already in the DB?

There’s only one GH song I still want and that’s New Low, by Middle Class Rut. Very late DLC, almost the last, and GHtoRB3 never got to it. I don’t think anyone has converted it either.

Here is one of my big, infrequent updates to this thread. I haven’t updated the color-coding yet (it’s a pain and I should have known better), but I’ll get to it.

This includes recently released songs as well as a few I previously missed and includes the following:

If you want to know where these are, please try using the handy forums search feature. Please note that these may not be all instruments.

          Buckethead – Jordan

          Foghat – Slow Ride

Deep Purple – Woman From Tokyo (’99 Remix)

John Mellencamp – Hurts So Good

          Weezer – Why Bother?

          Aerosmith – Uncle Salty

Ted Nugent – Cat Scratch Fever

Van Halen – Ain’t Talkin’ Bout Love

Van Halen – Dance The Night Away

Van Halen – Intruder/ (Oh) Pretty Woman

          Deep Purple – Burn

          Muse – Uprising

          Slayer – Chemical Warfare

          Tesla – Modern Day Cowboy

          Third Eye Blind – Graduate

Hinder – Lips of an Angel

30 Seconds To Mars – From Yesterday

          Black Sabbath – After Forever

          Bob Seger – Her Strut

Eagles – One of These Nights

          Goo Goo Dolls – Name

          GWAR – Gor-Gor

          KISS – Lick It Up

My Chemical Romance – Bulletproof Heart

Oasis – The Shock of the Lightning

          Oasis – The Turning

OK Go – Get Over It

Peter Frampton – Show Me The Way

          Saving Abel – Addicted

          Tesla – Love Song

          Van Halen – Jamie’s Cryin’

Thank you for the update, this is an incredible resource!

I’ve managed to find all but three of the songs you have listed. I’ve searched the forums and looked in the repository, and just can’t find these. If anyone knows where they are can you please link to them?

          Aerosmith – Pink

Queens of the Stone Age – How To Handle a Rope

Shadows Fall – Still I Rise

I’m almost positive Pink doesn’t exist. It was my favorite “gem” from GH:A and I haven’t come across it anywhere.

I have a Aerosmith – Pink. Can’t vouch for who did it. But here you go.

Wow. Awesome. I didn’t know that existed.

              I took a peek at the midi file and I can say this;

Drums are expert on every difficulty

Drums have no OD or fills

Bass and guitar have their own stems

Same censorship as GH “pink gets me ____ as a kite”

              Vocals/Harmonies are included

              There are venue animations

              Practice sections aren’t done

              Lower difficulties are GH style

Still very playable and will be a welcome addition to my Aerosmith catalogue.

I can’t remember where I got that. I’ve had it since march of 2013. So it was pre-C3. It can probably be whipped into shape.

With all the cool stuff you’ve done, I’m glad I could help you find something.

With all of the GH converts SpinDoctor is churning out at an impressive rate, you will have your hands full with updates to this list!

I know, right! It’s already out-of-date. Hopefully a quick update tonight.

                #418550

Um, I’m sorry that I had posted a thread about this in another board. :sweatdrop: I didn’t even realize you guys were already looking into this.

I’m still not knowledgeable at charting, so I can’t contribute much (that is, aside from song info) but if I can make a suggestion?

Whenever you work on the songs from the guitar-only games (GH1 through GHA), there’s the guitar track, the bass track (sometimes it’s lead and rhythm, but whatever), and the backing track which is drums + vocals, right?

What I’m proposing is: why not improvise a full Multitrack with these by turning the backing track into an instrumental for the drums, and then picking up the rest and making the Vocals track with it? Unlike Multitracking from scratch, this is rather easy to be done on Audacity. Not sure whether that would work well enough, but it’s an idea I had and thought I could share.

Oh, and one more thing: please put up links for non-C3 releases on the main post, if possible. It’s a bit tiresome having to shuffle through the board after this or that song.

You’ll find a lot of them in the Customs Repository.

Except for Queens of the Stone Age: How To Handle a Rope and Shadows Fall: Still I Rise, which I’m starting to doubt even exist.
