February 19, 2014 at 4:35 am #414373Spaceship! My wife loves that song. Thanks for the upload!
Puddle of Mudd are awesome. More of PoM awesomeness to come.
Oh hell yes…Paradise….thank you!!! Can’t wait to try this one in a bit…only odd thing for me I guess will be getting used to the acoustic version, but after watching the youtube vid of it, the vocals don’t seem too changed. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />Great song if you like Tesla. I didn’t even know they did a studio version. I’ve only heard the live version and it sounded like the guitarists were pouring out as much emotion as the singer. The song has multiple guitar parts at once and I didn’t really try to pick them apart, I simply went with what I predominantly heard and what felt right. It plays well and feels pretty good to me. The vocals feel “on” as well, inflections and all. Hope you like it.
February 25, 2014 at 1:38 am #4146892/24/14 – Three new songs:
Ra – “Do You Call My Name?”
Jefferson Starship – “(Familiar) Stranger”
Seether – “Driven Under”
February 25, 2014 at 8:29 pm #414728Thanks for the new content! Looking forward to playing the Seether song on guitar while singing.
I could probably add drums to a song or two – do I need the original reaper files and source audio or can I somehow get that from the rb3con file? Sorry if that’s a dumb question. I’m just getting started with authoring and have a lot to learn.

I’m just getting started with authoring and have a lot to learn. It’s not dumb at all. Without asking questions it’ll take you forever to figure things out. Download C3 CON Tools (a.k.a. LeFluffie C3) and use the batch extractor to pull out the files then dump them into reaper and start playing around. And when you’re done, take a moment and thank the C3 geniuses who continue to make all this possible for us laymen.

February 26, 2014 at 1:50 pm #414752Some cool song’s here. Shame there not full instrument charted. Thanks!
Regarding full instrumentation, none of these songs were intended for public consumption when I charted them. I don’t play drums or bass and friends rarely play RB at my house, so it made zero sense for me to chart Full Band. Since I don’t drum, I doubt I could chart the drums well at all anyway, and bass? On most songs I can’t even hear it, never mind chart it.
However, all the hard work has been done – extract these RB3con files and take a couple of hours to chart out the instruments you want. That’s what’s so great about all this – we can make these songs our own. Posted here, these are “my” songs. Once you alter them, they’re “your” songs. Go nuts, have a ball!
February 27, 2014 at 1:30 pm #414794Could u do AGAIN by Alice in chains? That would be awesome to play!
February 27, 2014 at 3:40 pm #414799Could u do AGAIN by Alice in chains? That would be awesome to play!No question, great song and it is in my “Song Staging” folder already, so yup, I’ll be working on that one. When? I have no idea. I’ll bump it up the list, though. As always, it’ll be tough to choose who to sing with during the harmonies – Layne or Layne.
March 2, 2014 at 4:38 am #414940I love RA! Thanks. My fingers cant play expert, but I will try! Is there any chance you can do Fine Again from Seether?

March 2, 2014 at 5:39 pm #414963I love RA! Thanks. My fingers cant play expert, but I will try! Is there any chance you can do Fine Again from Seether? In this song, Expert isn’t too tough on guitar – definitely give it a shot. “Fine Again” is in my staging folder.
Hi i cant seem to find your Seether Driven Under in the rockband list custom when i tried to load it is there something im missing its not under Seether or Driven Under thought you should knowSorry, I don’t know what to tell you. It works on my console. I put it on a different thumbdrive and it and shows up under artist, song and date acquired. The song has been downloaded via this thread by about a dozen people – anyone else experience a problem with Seether’s “Driven Under”?
If you have LeFluffie C3 (link on page one) you can edit the song’s DTA and change its ID which causes the game to see the file as something new, but having never played the original file before, the game shouldn’t be having a problem with it as it is. Anyone have any ideas?

Yes. And I’m sorry for the “U-Two”. It looks, in the words of Nyx, “goofy”, but I can’t get the damnable number to show up.

Weird. In my “Legacy” custom I got “’99” to show up with no problems. Maybe cause it was a talkie?
Anyways, 1985 is an awesome song, and I’d love to, one day, chart drums, bass and do reductions. (assuming no one beats me to it!)
