Hey man, thanks again for doing all these. Just wondering one thing. On We’re in this together now and Can’t stop I’m getting the music only in my center speaker (running 5.1). Am I doing anything wrong or have there been any updates since like a month or two? Totally understand if it is what it is just trying to get the most out of em.
June 27, 2014 at 5:25 am #423525I really don’t know why they would be sounding differently on these speaker systems. Without a way to test them on surround sound, I can’t account for any issues like these since I didn’t initially put these songs together. I can try to put together another version of Venice Queen with much lower volume for busta but it sounds totally fine on my tv. Maybe farattone or someone else will pop in and know what the issue is, but otherwise I’m not sure I can do anything for Can’t Stop or We’re in this Together Now.

It’s a mystery to me. It seems to happen with tracks very rarely it could be me for all I know. It wouldn’t be a big deal, but when you’re singing, vocals go through all speakers and the game sounds do as well so it’s weird. It’s not like I can’t just put it on regular stereo and see if that works. I just like 5.1 because you hear the entire crowd behind you when playing. Either way I really appreciate what you’ve done. I just wanted to see if it was a known problem or anything, but it’s clearly just me.
June 27, 2014 at 11:30 am #423530It’s a really specific problem, but I’m sure regular C3 authors might now what’s causing it. But I sure don’t.
August 13, 2014 at 6:17 pm #426997Lazy update. trojannemo asked me to CAT some songs for him. None of these are my kind of music, but I figure I owe the guy for all he’s done for me. I’ll fix this post up with images and all the good stuff later this week. All of these are quick and dirty CAT conversions, none of them are tested. I ran them though MIDI Analyzer to make sure the notes on each instrument reduced.

Chris Brown ft. Lil Wayne & Busta Rhymes – Look at Me Now
For some reason, I COULD NOT get Bass to reduce at all on this one. I’m giving up on it and hopefully someone else can reduce it. There’s only 91 notes on it so it doesn’t seem too hard. 9-11-2004 update: Fixed!

August 15, 2014 at 10:52 pm #427152I don’t know if they have Overdrive, I didn’t check them and I already deleted them from my computer.

September 11, 2014 at 2:51 pm #428937If on Magma C3 it was tagged as Expert Only, it’ll continue to show it unless the songs.dta entry is edited to reflect that.
September 12, 2014 at 2:47 am #429034I fixed it. Download it again because last night’s file was missing most of the stuff inside.
September 12, 2014 at 3:06 am #429036All I have to say is, fucking magnets, how do they work?
