Nobuo Uematsu – Advent: One-Winged Angel

One-Winged Angel is the theme of Sephiroth and the final boss theme of Final Fantasy VII. It features a full orchestra and choir even in the original version, but even that wasn’t epic enough for this release, which is the extended rearranged version from Advent Children, featuring The Black Mages adding guitar, bass and drum parts to this piece. With three guitar solos, bass riffs of varying intensity, a minute long drum solo, a keys part pieced together from an entire orchestra worth of parts and choir harmonies spanning over two octaves in the final part of the song, this song is a blast to play for every instrument!

Traffic – Feelin’ Alright

 

This song has a bit of a reputation for being one of the dozen or so songs that was very likely going to be an on-disc song for Rock Band 3. There is even text for an unused achievement for this song if you hit 90% of the notes on Keys. Since that never happened, I am glad to make this playable in Rock Band 3 as a custom for everyone!

 

This is probably one of the toughest customs I’ve ever worked on (and oldest). A big thanks to AJFOne23 for the Drums chart and TheWay123 for reviewing the other parts I charted. I regret not being able to work on Pro Keys for this one, but Keys players should not be disappointed. The challenging and varying parts should keep things exciting for all players.

HoC Movie Studio is set to release a number of films in 2018, all including star packed soundtracks featuring artists such as Michael Jackson, Yes, Sting, Rod Stewart, Angra, Madonna and many more. HoC Movie Studio has already green-lighted 3 untitled projects: a horror/thriller, a romantic comedy and a travel-themed drama, all with spectacular soundtracks of more than 15 songs each.

 

Every movie release will be preceded by marketing campaigns that will feature packs of bonus songs from the artists featured in the movie’s soundtrack and by other special events.
