And good thing too. Seems like they’ll need the extra time haha.
January 25, 2019 at 11:27 am #503136Oh wow, maybe the hint was harder than I thought ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
So since it’s tomorrow, here’s a further clue about hint 11:
It’s a pack by a single artist. Which isn’t any of the artists in the picture ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
But this hint was meant to show the influence this artist and his songs had. Each of those artists are in some way directly connected to one of the songs in the pack (but don’t actually appear in those tracks), and so are the movies in the pictures.
Come on, it’s a major artist, selling out arenas all over the world, it’s really not too difficult ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
January 25, 2019 at 11:43 am #503137It’s Eddie Van Halen’s birthday on Saturday so a Van Halen pack maybe? I don’t know their music well enough to link any of the clues if so
January 25, 2019 at 1:14 pm #503142Maybe hint 11 is a Rolling Stones pack
January 25, 2019 at 1:26 pm #503143Maybe hint 11 is a Rolling Stones pack
Nope ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> What is the connection of the stones to each of those artists, or to Harry Potter?
Also, notice I said arenas, not stadiums… So it’s a big artist, but maybe not that big ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
And look at the other hints too – I think they’re fairly solveable ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Hmm, the only Harry Potter connection I can think of is Pulp, since Jarvis appeared as frontman in “The Weird Sisters”…

two Pulp and two Radiohead members in that band… not sure pulp has sold out an arena in a while. radiohead sure would, but would we get more when we just got Kid A last week? and not sure if either ties in to the other clues, so we could be heading the wrong direction with The Weird Sisters…
January 25, 2019 at 3:15 pm #503146wanna say morrison but the harry potter doesnt fit

Well, Radiohead released Kid A and Amensiac less than 1 year apart.
January 25, 2019 at 4:24 pm #503150I wonder if hint 11 might be referring to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
They had a song, “Red Right Hand”, featured on the Scream soundtrack, which is also the theme tune for the TV show Peaky Blinders. Various artists including Arctic Monkeys, Iggy Pop and Jarvis Cocker have performed versions of this song for the show.
“O Children” appeared in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
I also remember Coldplay covering “Where the Wild Roses Grow” with Kylie Minogue.
Metallica have recorded a cover of “Loverman”.
Nick Cave himself covered the song “Disco 2000” by Pulp.
And that’s all I’ve got.

Yes! Well done ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
For the ones you’ve missed:
“Red Right Hand” was used in the first 3 Scream movies – Nick even recorded a special alternate version for “Scream 3”
The last picture is Lloyd Prince – who had a number one hit in 1959 with his rendition of “Stagger Lee”, later also “covered” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (I put covered in quotation marks because Nick’s version is nothing alike any old versions – it’s pretty much an original song that happens to have a killer with the same name).
I’m impressed you got the Coldplay cover – it’s the most obscure by far, I think they only did it live once and never recorded it.
One tiny nitpick – the Arctic Monkeys cover of “Red Right Hand” has nothing to do with Peaky Blinders, it was simply a b-side to one of their singles (“Crying Lightning”).
Now try the other ones ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
January 25, 2019 at 9:51 pm #503161Wow a whole Nick Cave pack my dreams are about to be realized, can’t wait to see whats included
