A lot of acts have played at Wembley from my knowledge (Muse, Queen, Foo Fighters).

 

After some quick research, one band sprang to mind: THE WHO.

 

I doubt I’m close,but The Who played Wembley in 1979 (with a bunch of notable opening acts: The Stranglers, AC/DC [yes really], and Nils Lofgren).
