Greetings to the fellow denizens of the customs creators collective. I am here with my first post as a C3X admin. Please try to contain your enthusiasm.
C3X begins this Friday. That’s right, this weekend you will have a hefty collection of songs from some of our top customs authors. We’ve got new songs, old songs, legends, and up and coming stars. And that’s just the first day of many to come.
But as for right now, this very moment, it is time to launch the first of the weekly trivia contests! Get your puzzle solving skills going and get yourself a preview of what’s to come in just a few short days.
Image hints
What’s this? Are we releasing music from the acclaimed 2007 animated series Hidamari Sketch? Oh, I guess I was the only one who thought that. Anyways, here’s a simple one to get you all started, from our dear administrator farottone!
If you can figure out the band from this image, then you get this added hint from Bansheeflyer to figure out the song: “This song was instrumental in their success”
Coming from Rocker1999 is one of the most well known covers of one of the most well known songs. Let this image point you in the right direction.
This image, posted without comment from TheSheepQueen, hints at an author’s upcoming 4-pack. A ring of eyes and a MF77 Paris metro model? This will be challenging for sure.
Here we have two from RealCheese. It’s trying to say something, what is it trying to say?
Anagrams
Here’s three songs to decipher from our own MrPrezident:
Artist: Beer Bogs
Song Title: Manna Brimming Ball
HINT: The first song from their first studio album was a number one hit in their hometown of Detroit MI.
Artist: Catcalled Irreverence Weaver
Song Title: Delphi MIT teachings
HINT: This song came out five years before 1974 and was not written by the band.
Artist: Empty Tot
Song Title: Robed Wank
HINT: This song barely cracked the top 40 in 1976 and became one of the artist’s signature songs.
And one more song from author FUGGNUTZ:
Artist: Every Warn
Song Title: Taco Heat
HINT: This 2014 pop single was the breakout hit of this new artist, and gained the attention of many big names of the time. (Also, “Taco Heat” is an excellent song name, someone make it happen).
Other
With a couple more, we have an old game tune from Oddbrother with the hint “GO AND SAVE THE CITY”, and a very new song authored by Rocker1999 that might become the new theme to Roblox.
And there we go. Get to guessing, and we’ll see you all Friday for the first release night!

Though if I see a Robed Wank, I’m getting outta there.
September 18, 2018 at 2:46 am #500874Neat puzzles! Here are my guesses:
The Beatles – Help! (maybe the rest of the album?)
The B-52’s – Follow Your Bliss
Israel Kamakawiwoʻole – Somewhere Over the Rainbow (from the album “Facing Future” which is the anagram in the photo… also fits the hints)
Bob Seger – Ramblin Gamblin Man
CCR – The Midnight Special
Tom Petty – Breakdown
Ryn Weaver – OctaHate
EDIT: also Bring Me The Horizon – Go to Hell, for Heaven’s Sake (rebus puzzle, the song title and the album “Sempiternal”)
No idea what SheepQueen’s photo montage is meant to be though.
