Hey look, I’m back.

 

I’d like to contribute a song for week 2:

I will be setting up my end-of-days releases soon myself. I’ve had to take a break from customs for a period of time due to some IRL things happening (mostly good things, but very time consuming), but I’m coming back in full force to help finish with a bang.

 

I’ll post here later with what song I’ll contribute to Week 2, and whatever other week I can contribute to from now until October.

WEEK #1

Well, I can release the RB “cover” songs I converted with original audio restored and some chart fixes/improvements : the Black Sabbath songs (NIB now has its intro bass solo), the Bowie songs, Beetlebum and Bang a Gong. Not sure that’s kosher, though.

WEEK #3

Everything I’ve got on the scheduler by mid august, so at least:

I also have a dozen french language songs, but playtesting would be a pain in the a** because a good chunk of these are 1/2 years old, and I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t interest a lot of people.

Once my computer starts working again (it needs a new charger and a battery that will take a charge, currently working on getting replacements. I’m using IE on my 360 and it suuuuucks) I’ve decided I’ll do “That’s a Horse of a Different Color” by iwrestledabearonce for week 2. Kind of an odd choice, but it’s one that I personally like a lot.

I will feel like a failure at authoring if I don’t get a Blind Guardian custom through C3 before it’s too late. I’m gonna try and complete And the Story Ends for Week 2.

So, in planning the final month we didn’t take into consideration that we need to sanity check all those songs and that essentially we are down to 2 persons doing the sanity checks. Week 2 songs are solid, those pencilled in are fine. If you have not added a song yet and you are not an established author (meaning we need to sanity check your song), please don’t add songs to week 2 because we don’t have the resources to manage them. Exceptions can be made if a song is extremely popular and maybe an established author will volunteer time, but please post it here first instead of adding it to the scheduler.

 

For week 3, for the moment let’s consider it a tentative scheduling subject to picking and choosing based on popularity. We’ll know more if more authors volunteer to help. I’m sorry to change course midway but my request for help on sanity checks got a grandtotal of 0 responses from established authors and there’s only so much me and pksage can do. We’ll be updating more close to release date.
