April 22, 2015 at 3:44 pm #443454Week 2: I’m looking to finish up Styx – Come Sail Away which was kinda put on the backburner for my other packs recently.
I have a WIP chart of this, with expert guitar, bass, drums and pro keys done (pro keys may need a lot of fixing), if you want to use that.
April 22, 2015 at 3:53 pm #443455If you what to PM me what you have, that would be great! I have drums/bass done already, but I’ll compare on those. Guitar I could definitely use as I haven’t gotten there yet.
As for keys, I have them done already, but they are going to be a mess to wrap. A lot of edge stuff that I feel is going to be really awkward to fudge. I can always use a second opinion with keys though, so I’ll be taking a look at yours for sure.
Assuming that I’ll be using anything, I can credit you out as well on the release. I may move this into Week 3 then, since I feel the Week 2 is for individual author projects only. Either way, I’ll be happy to see it get out!

It’s ok to have collabs on week 2, personally I just feel that prominent author would be better represented by individual songs and not collaborations but it’s up to the authors obviously. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
April 22, 2015 at 4:29 pm #443458For week 1, I have a ton of conversion ideas, but I’ll most likely do Tonic’s “If You Could Only See” and then also do the fix-up of L’Via L’Viaquez (mainly lyric and guitar fixes) I’ve been putting off forever. I may contribute more depending on time and whether or not my other “conversion wishlist” songs are taken or not. I don’t care who does them as long as they’re done, so I’ll just pick from the leftovers.
I can definitely contribute to Weeks 2 and 3 as well, that just depends on what I’ll have left at the time. My focus until the end will be my Parental Advisory pack, RBN rescues, collabs and a couple other packs/songs I really want to get out through C3, so my more “mainstream” stuff will probably be saved for these weeks.
April 22, 2015 at 6:37 pm #443467Speaking of ‘RBN resuces’, could those count as ‘conversions’ for Week 1? I have at least one old official RBN track that I want to give the “RB3 Version” treatment to (new album mix, harmonies, maybe add keys). Could fall under another week, though.
I don’t know what other non-GH material there may be to reappropriate: anyone ever poke at Konami’s “Rock Revolution” format?

I think the RBN song is not a conversion (but very cool to have it for week 2 or 3). Re: Rock Revoltion, since it’s all covers (minus 2), nobody ever really took a crack at it I think. Great to see you’re on board!
April 22, 2015 at 8:00 pm #443473For the conversions week, I plan to do:
The Cure – Fascination Street
Sonic Youth – Incinerate
Queens of the Stone Age – Mexicola
There’s some unpolished conversions floating around and I think someone else in C3 has previously expressed interest in converting it, but if no one else does it I may try to convert Dire Straits – Sultans of Swing as well. Not going to have time to do this one, disregard.
I’ll also do something for Week 2 and maybe 3 but I’m currently undecided on exactly what.

Technically, I am just a Cadet, so I need someone to hold my hand anyways
In all honesty, I can just move Come Sail Away to Week 3 and bring “Five for Fighting – 100 Years” up to Week 2. That one is just me so that should be fine. Good key song, and the song has a similar theme to the C3 Weekly End feeling which should fit well.
May 27, 2015 at 5:02 pm #446484Here are my thoughts on how I can contribute…
Week 1: Tony Solis – “Guilty Pleasures”
Week 2: Bon Jovi – “Never Say Goodbye” (seems apt)
I’ve got a couple of tracks that I paid for the multis for, so they’ll definitely get done at some point. Whether it’s for the final pack or before that I don’t know, I’ll just want to release them whenever they get done.
May 30, 2015 at 7:03 pm #446739Okay, so I’m in on this. I’m still coming up with a song for Week 2, but I have some songs for Weeks 1 and 3. Those with an asterisk are those that I want to do, but IDK if anyone else is doing it.
Week 1
Dethklok – Bloodlines
*Megadeth – Sudden Death
*Strong Bad – Trogdor
Week 3
*Cee Lo Green – Fuck You
Genesis – The Return of the Giant Hogweed
Led Zeppelin – Achilles Last Stand
*Linkin Park – Guilty All the Same
June 14, 2015 at 11:26 pm #448003Committing to Week 2 Judas Priest – Victim of Changes. Week 3 (at least) Big Star – O My Soul.
June 18, 2015 at 5:26 pm #448453I’ll do Rudy by Supertramp for week 2.
I’ll probably complete some of the other things I started but never finished for week 3 as well, like Neighbourhood #1 and Dirty Harry.

July 4, 2015 at 6:18 pm #449541So, here’s the final list of songs I’m planning to convert, if anybody wants to take over any of these, please be my guest. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>

we had one for ymca that was pretty much done, it was at viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1031 but it’s down and i’d need to reupload it. it’s not good in its current state because pro keys crash on some systems, but i’m sure you could use the charts and edited audio for a newer version
never miss a beat was a work in progress. we had an rpp with fixed drums and bass and unfinished keys if you’d like that
