Nemo, Is there anyway you can change the functionality of the indexer in 3.9.1 back to how it was in 3.8.1 in regards to the “Send To..” function, so the opened window/form is not modal ?
In 3.9.1 after a item is sent to a function, the indexer cannot be selected until that previous window is closed. Not being like this was useful in previous versions for quickly comparing multiple files to see any differences. The main form supports multiple instances (ie song analyzer) of child forms.
October 5, 2015 at 8:21 pm #456883Keep the reports coming guys. I’m listening, just waiting to have enough to push out an update.
And for my future reference:
The tools are indeed easy to use; perhaps too easy? ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” /> Since it appears RBtoUSB is updated regularly, filename length validation may be a worthwhile consideration. Would certainly cut down on the number of support queries.
This 40 character thing may be the key. I just tested by removing the songs with the very long Dream Theater titles, and every other song below that worked. It seems as the 40 character thing is not just breaking the songs with >40 characters, but also preventing further loading of data from the USB, so that it doesn’t even see anything after the >40 songs.
October 6, 2015 at 1:15 am #456914I can’t wait for this update ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
October 6, 2015 at 7:05 am #456946If anyone is planning to throw a RB4 party, and you’re on the latest version of C3 CON Tools, Setlist Manager should already be able to download the RB4 setlist so you can auto-magically add those songs to your setlist. Check it out.
I would have also added the 12 Xbox pre-order songs, but yeah, somebody fucked up and we only got 5/12 songs, so those will come later. If you got the 10 PS+ digital pre-order songs or the 4 Amazon pre-order songs, and want to help me out with this, please PM me.
October 6, 2015 at 1:02 pm #456961When I create an updated pack for instance all songs with Y artists and I load it via RBtoUSB it for some reason retains the old packs version of cons that have been updated. They are both there so I have tons of duplicates. I even tried formating the usb and reloading but it still happens ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
October 6, 2015 at 1:17 pm #456962That’s a problem with the song cache…easily fixed by deleting it but then you lose your scores on any customs you’ve played.

Actually, if a song is not on the stick anymore, no, it won’t show up. The behaviour described makes it look like more than one version of the songs is on the stick.

I just reformatted the stick and started from scratch. I redid packs and saved them as the old names and even some new ones but still I get duplicates. For example I had one primary Zeppelin pack with the Ocean. Now I have separate album packs and I still get the old version and new version showing up in game even though I deleted the old one from my hard drive and stick
October 7, 2015 at 4:50 pm #457076No to sound greedy or anything but…. Have you dug into the PS4 data yet? I’m curious if we’ll ever be able to output the song cache for the setlist/event manager. I saw the on-disc import you set up, but I’ve got another 1300+ legacy DLC as well.
I’ve been spoiled by the event manager and it’s ALL YOUR FAULT.
October 7, 2015 at 5:26 pm #457079Not going to happen anytime soon. Remember the only way it happens in RB3 is with a modded PS3 with FTP access. That’s a long ways off.
What I suggest is using your PS3 setlist, assuming you have one, and then removing what’s not in RB4. Should be easier than manually adding them in.

With C3 Tools is there an Easy way to replace the custom song’s album art, without having to extract the file and rebuild it with the new Album Art? thanks.
October 8, 2015 at 2:32 am #457115Yes. When you drag/drop the song to it and it opens in CON Explorer, just drag/drop the replacement *.png_xbox file over the PNG_XBOX button. Click yes to overwrite. Click Save. That’s it. Use Advanced Art Converter to create the *.png_xbox file.

Thanks, but i rather not check and replace all the Album Arts for 28 songs, but i will change the NR song rating
October 8, 2015 at 3:23 am #457119So why do you bother to ask?
