Hey, this is your party, and I love it <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

I started using magmac3 to change ids since about Jan 2015. I’ve rebuilt my cache many times since then, and the songs in the range I mentioned still retain there score and playcount. So I don’t know.

I didn’t manually use that range. I think what happened was I started using magma to replace the id’s before I had a forum login, and realised I should enter the author id into magma. Since then my customs have my author ID.

I understand that author id 0 is invalid, and i’m cool with the way the validation works, and that my #3 is not really an issue. My xbox360 still retains my scores on those songs though.

Q: After the indexer has searched and displayed non-wipeproof ID’s, should the search box display [FILTER] is that by design? also it’s greyed out. I understand if you done that to prevent further searching.

For me after I click clear search I cannot search again? the box remains greyed out, until I close and restart the indexer.

+1 for the sortable columns, and sorting “weird al” with the other W’s

Because technically, any numeric value between 1 and 2,147,483,647 (upper limit of Int32) will be accepted by the game, but we need an organized way of doing things so we don’t end up with duplicate IDs. So all the tools use the system described above which allows for some 11,400 “authors” to each get 99,999 unique IDs. That oughta cover it :haw:

      Yeah, it was by design.

      Not by design.

sorting “weird al” with the other W’s

The built-in sorter does that. I actually prefer listing it how it’s listed in the game, which would put “Weird Al” at the beginning. But this was easier :v:

        Hi, some more on 3.9.0

Visualizer: The EQ section does not display the tool tip help, and cannot be changed by clicking. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />

Audio Analyzer: I noticed I cannot drop a file on the button to open it in the analyzer (same in 3.8.1) as there is no menu to manually open a file. This different to the other single function buttons.

        edit.

Hey, I know your working on this, and your fixes may fix this, but here is another thing with the indexer.

If I enter a search term, then click build index, it builds, but then the clear search button does nothing, and my search term is still there.

If I add to the search term, the filter works, then the clear search button works again.

        Cheers

Change log said it was redone from the ground up. Some things were removed by design. That was one of them. The tiny equalizer image in Visualizer is now fixed to one look.

as there is no menu to manually open a file.

Not sure what you’re talking about.

I meant, you can drop a con file on the main window buttons like Visualizer & Song Analyzer, and it opens the file in the Visualizer etc, but if I drop a file on the “Audio Analyzer” button it just opens the ConExplorer window, not the audio analyzer window.

Also I edited my post before I saw your reply

          I know, like enough already <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Indexer: When I export displayed songs to CSV, the column header for Song ID is wrong, and there is no file location column.

            Sure, easy to add.

I don’t mind. It helps me out since I can only notice so many things on my end.

Already fixed on my end, but thanks for catching it.

All bugs reported fixed on my end. I’ll wait a couple more days to allow others to report any other bugs that need fixing.

Don’t get too excited…but the next update brings changes to Setlist Manager that include the ability to mark a song source as RB4 and Blitz, and the setlist can now be filtered by those two as well. This does NOT mean we can automatically populate your setlist from RB4 like we can from RB3 (not yet, anyways), but as it always has, Setlist Manager allows you to add songs manually and then have all the features of Setlist Manager at your disposal, which to me at least is better than creating booklets by hand.

For example, grab your RB3 cache and import it. Filter to only show RBN1, RBN2 and RB3 songs. Select all and delete. Filter to show the rest of your songs. Manually add the RB4 songs. Manually remove whatever songs are still in your setlist that are missing from the game. Add whatever new DLC songs are in the game but not in the setlist. Maybe 30 minutes later, you’re done and you have a nice setlist file. Then adding songs as you get them with weekly DLC or whatever should be easy peasy and take no more than 1-2 minutes per week.

If we find a way to get that data directly from the game files, or if HMX brings back some sort of API we can use (pretty please HMX), I will definitely add auto-populating in the future, but for now, this is not a bad start I think.

There’s a bug I found when manually making a Visualizer image. When making the difficulties it seems everything’s been shifted. When clicking on “NO PART” I get Devil tier, clicking on 1 dot gives no dots, etc.

                    #455725

This is just an observation, but in RBtoUSB after adding a bunch of files (i was adding packs) the amount of free space left is not updated, you have to click refresh, then it updates.

Good catches guys. Will add those fixes tonight. Still waiting to get more bug reports before issuing update but all of these that have been listed have been addressed on my end. Keep it coming.
